Jilly, I think I love you.

I'm not sure how widely known this is but I understand that the PanAm bomb had a combination of two switches, whereby an altitude switch (activated on the first leg of the devices journey into LHR) set off a timer switch, which was due to explode somewhere over the atlantic after the plane had left LHR for the States The 'device' was actually held up in the bowels of Heathrow's baggage system directly and underneath Terminal 1 for a few hours, a further delay of only a couple of hours could have seen even more carnage and loss of life. The 'Lockerbie disaster' could have been known as either the 'Missing over the Atlantic mystery' or the 'Heathrow disaster'.

Is Mike Osman still close pals with Matt? I liked his enthusiasm but can we really afford to pay him what he would reportedly have received previously. Maybe he do it as a freebie as a continuation of his recent fundraising efforts.

Good shout Art, good shout. They could split the week into 5 categories, two (public vote and judges choice) from each go through to a big finale. Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your Aunt and the public get a decent range to vote on. Maybe they could do it more like the xfactor format where five 'expert panelist' gets to run a bootcamp for their category culminating in a showdown. Categories? 1. Solo singers (Greg Pritchard) 2. Groups 3. Dance acts 4. Novelty/Weirdos (including magic, mime and esc-apologists, Greg Pritchard) 5. Kids Make sure it doesn't clash with any minor sporting events like the Champions League too, and leave a week between the semi's and the final.

Fun, fun, fun, all the way there and back ims. -
Should the new owners (pinnacle) consider saving The Saint radio station? I think it was an asset that lost a little when sold and renamed as radio Hampshire. If it hadn't been sold off, those poor souls would have had a pay packet tis month, I understand that they've been left in the lurch. Some very good presenters, I enjoyed waking up and driving the Mrs to work with Gemma McParland. I beleieve that a fair percentage preferred their match coverage too, I know I did. A minor re-vamp maybe such as (more) exclusive player interviews and loads of free ticket comps, putting 'The Brothers' on pre and post match would be a great move too. The two wavelengths licences (107.8 and 107.2) must have been pretty tough to obtain so it would be a real shame to let them go. I think it could really prosper. Thoughts

?? Is that suggesting that the food industry know something that I don't about Little Budha? Or was that reference to me being a tightwad? Maybe I should use the winky smiley more.
