  1. Bank Holiday game at Priestfield, I knocked my big brother off the wall as I threw my arms up celebrating a goal. They had a picture of me on the back page of the local rag, and Mum told him off as he was supposed to looking after me. He's a Skate so probably deserved it.
  2. I was being generous, btw someone please remind me not to park too close to the ground. And Baj, don't just bring your own ballboy, you might want to bring your own ball too mate, the home team will be using the match ball. How are you anyway bud? Exciting ain't it.
  3. Simon, when are tickets going on sale? I would officially like to reserve 6 please. And please can you clarify the age restriction, ie what is the limit and if kids only go to the day bit do they still need a full price ticket? I know you are busy, but I may be having to plan around the Div 2 play off final which is on the same day, plus organising babysitters for the evening.
  4. I know that Steve needs ball-boys. I am bringing 2 (maybe 3), but as the e-mail update isn't out yet can anyone else help out?. They won't be allowed in the dressing room and tunnel areas though. I really hope they do have a few balls available too, it would be a shame if we have to wait while someone climbs up to row Z after each of Baj's shots. I also assume that Scu will need a volunteer to sell the programmes, I hope he brings plenty.
  5. Drivers who use the inside lane (city bound) of the Chilworth - Winchester Road roundabout section of the Avenue, then at the last moment cut in front of me, when I have been patiently and considerately been queuing along with all the other decent drivers. Arseholes and ALWAYS men, 7 times out of 10 driving vans. My son in law once did this (in his f-ing van) with me as a passenger, I asked him not to do it as he sped along and he just laughed. I insisted that he came in for a coffee as a way of thanking him for the lift, stressing that he should wait for the traffic to ease, and spat in it. I laughed at him when he drank it. He joined in the laughter which made me laugh some more, almost spitting my coffee out as I HAD HAD THE LAST LAUGH. HAHA LAUGHING BOY. I have promised myself not to let it bother me any more and not try to make a mental note of their vehicle so that I can 'key it' if I ever see them in Tesco's car park.
  6. There is http://https://www.gg.com/login.php which charge per text.
  7. You're just a little short for your height TG, but if you wanna get in 'shape', you need to burn off some calories too. Exercise is the way forward, and you'd be surprised how little you need to do to shed those pounds.
  8. Worry not LB, Matt would not commit to the match unless he knew it would definitely happen. Read between the lines if you must, but the match will sell out if all goes to plan.
  9. It wasn't about the football today, it really wasn't.
  10. I think that is the quickest response to any poll I have ever made. Nothing personal Mark, and I sincerely wish you and your family well, and hope that you have enjoyed your time with us. Next time I am in the 'Dam, we'll share one.:smt033 xx Love hamster
  11. Naughty :smt018 bypassing the swear filter.
  12. I had a great time thanks in part to those really nice Forest fans, but if I am really honest I am just so glad that this season is now over.....Or is it? And on the way home, I was amazed by the amount pf other fans who wished us well at the service station, Wolves, Liverpool and even the lads serving. Made me proud to be a Saint. Great day out NOT spoilt by the result for once.
  13. Mmm Isn't Octopus still moored up down there?
  14. "I love Skate" Dirty fish ****er.
  15. Is this the one?
  16. This is a supporters announcement. The Football League have given us permission to use the multi-ball system.
  17. Nail on head WC, nail on head mate. If ever a cliche was written for football in the modern times, it was that it is not a level playing field. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
  18. Are we nailed on to lose this one then in people's opinions? If so I may for the first time ever in my life bet on the opposition (currently around evens).

  22. a variation of the above Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard To fetch the Saints a bone When she bent over Sounness took over and gave them a bone of his own
  23. Just got this from freecycle, you will have to be quick. "I have two tickets for The Gordon Enclosure for tomorrow (2nd May). Sadly I cannot go so I hope someone else can make use of the tickets." reply to chezzi21@yahoo.co.uk and say you got the email from the southampton freeecycle group. That's all
  24. Working now and enjoyabley interesting to see inside your head Buzz. Belle and Sebastian I like. Are you a fan of Donovan?
  25. This is not personal, but jeez, how old are you? Try to imagine a club signing the current European 'player of the year' (and arguably the best player of his time), imagine a club winning the FA Cup, imagine a club qualifying for a european (KNOCK OUT ie proper)) tournament 4 years running ( I stand to be corrected), imaging a club who had 7 (blah blah) current and ex Englab]nd captains in their squad, imagine a club who the current record appearance for England player plays for, imagine a club who EVERYONE fear palying at their home ground, imagine a BIG CLUB. Imagine hte hurt that those fans feel. That my friend IS/WAS us
