And who never dreamt of doing this as a nipper? http://www.metacafe.com/watch/yt-hRFNTNYr51Y/david_beckham_wonder_goal_from_own_half_against_wimbledon/ As the commentator says, " a goal that you will see over and over again".

I also believe that he deserves better from his England team-mates, if they had half the talent he has, we would have won so much more. As I said, people do not fully appreciate genius until it has passed. And IMHO Fergie did Becks a massive favour letting him go when he did. Also, much as the media (and us to some degree) slate Victoria, she is without doubt the rock behind the man. I like her. Note - I received Beckham (the fragrance) for Christmas, Brut it isn't.

Any flight to anywhere, you need good seats. The best ones are near the toilets, as are the worst ones. Best seats for the 777-200 in green. I would suggest row 31 A,B,C or G,H,J: http://seatexpert.com/seatmap/195/KLM_Royal_Dutch_Boeing_777-200/ KLM I think let you check in over the net, so get in early: http://www.klm.com/travel/no_en/travel_tools/checkin_online/index.htm?db=db_ici&mfinfo.ici_entrypoint=menu

One day our Grand kids will ask, what was it like to watch David Beckham play? And you won't quite be able to find the words IMO.

/\ And he was a BIG bugger (if you know what i mean)?

If you really, really want to get on and moreover want to get one over on the teacher, i would suggest a strategic approach. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. You do not want to upset her, that is fsure. If you do you WILL regret it as the other teachers wmay close ranks (read post by John Boy Saint above). Remember that Aussies are notoriously racist, and resent us with a passion, and they bear grudges too. Suck up to her, be super nice and make her think that you have a crush on her. Get her to help you after school, and over time make your move. When the opportunity presents itself, bang her like an Irish drum on St Patricks Day. If you can record it on your mobile, and post it on here. You don't have to get her into trouble if you just want good marks, but that will always be an option at a later date. The above advice is based on my own experience of gaining a good grade in Maths. I actually lost my virginity to my Maths teacher.

!! Is that a euphemism? y the way, I am hoping to take Mrs Hamster up the A34.:smt054

S13, did you really just sit and type that picture? If so I am impressed, if not then I would like to know where you found it as I wanrt to print it out for my office wall. Many thanks H

May just be me but Mrs H thought so too. Maybe we should take into account that this was the first gig of the year for them, so maybe a little 'rusty' after a long Christmas break. But he (Marc) kept doing a funny sort of "yeah" that was far too masculine for the genre IMHO. Also, they didn't do Cosmic Dancer, my favourite. Overall, they just were not a patch on the polished Fleetwood Bac from the week before. H

NO!! Guinness first always.

I don't know what the **** you are talking about on this thread, but feel it is my duty to inform the world that the Marc Bolan (tribute act (T-Rextasy) were rubbish at The Brook on Friday. Even alcohol did not help the situation I am afraid. "SOLD OUT" you could have had my tickets for sixpence. Never again. Can't wait for Glenn Tillbrook and Paul Young, coming soon.
-
Aha, I am with you now. Thanks for your kind words in that testing time. And yes I did take your advice, but starngely haven't heard confirmation yet. Must call them to confirm it. Either way, I owe you a beer.

/\ Oh yeah, and please don't call me "Mate", I ain't your mate, okay?

No disrespect Summers but I think you'll find that bar staff are 'lackeys' of a kind. But agree that you should be shown respect all the same. I am always polite and patient, I also think that if you stay in a pub for a few hours, the service improves, this is particularly noticeable in Wethersppons, as lots of punters are only they're for a few cheap pints to start the evening off. I like it when bar staff remember my 'round' also, that is always worth a tip IMHO.

Surely a man of Big Macs integrity would tell Wilde to politely go **** himself?
