1. What you mean like making their own way to the ground and going through the turnstiles by themselves? Your'e just plain crazy
2. I guess it will ultimately depend on how affluent your group of mates are. Everyone will agree on what a great laugh it will be, until it comes to paying for it and then slowly but surely the numbers will start coming down. And then of course you have the guy that pays, but never actually asked his missus, but the 500 quid he loses, is worth it, for 6 months of dreaming is going on lads holiday, just like the old days. Probably worth checking easyjet and flybe etc. For where their cheapest flights will take you.... I think currently 30 quid, will get you to Estonia or Croatia,
3. I also took some solace in the result, as when we beat them at St Mary's, that will give us four points to their one..... and I 4-1 think that has a nice ring to it.
4. I don't think the games was as bad as some are making out. Derbies are never going to be about pretty, free flowing football for 90 minutes. We had our moments of decent football and were certainly the better team, their goal was sickening, but all in all a very disciplined and professional performance. There is some steel and mental strength in this team and those are qualities that we havent seen for a long time. Didnt understand the subs (Harding, but seems like Fox might have been injured) or lack of them (De Ridder would have seemed the perfect choice), but in fairness pompey didnt look like scoring. We won't play there again in a league match for many years, possibly even decades, so disappointed not to have signed off in style. But we go into Christmas top and we would have all snapped at that back in August. 2011 probably my favorite year out of the 34 I have had supporting Saints. Soon to be replaced by 2012

7. Regardless of whether it is legal, that would mean the ten point deduction....wouldn't it

9. The fact that chinny hasn't recieved a penny for the club from the russians, is an intresting twist. When he left the club the last time, he had culled the squad to five players and just decided not to pay ben haim at all. Between then and now, the club has additional debt of ten million, outstanding payments on players bought (Confirmed by lumpitt) a sizeable wage bill and neither secured or unsecured creditors have been paid a penny. Oh and theres just two parachute payments left (If they havent asked for another advance). The guarantee from bank snoras isnt worth the paper its written on, so it's hard to see how Chinny is going to get his money back. Anybody who buys the club, will do so for about a pound and then take ownership of their liabilities. (That will entice many wierdos and tyre kickers) so there's no money coming to chinny from that. But then chinny owns the stadium, so he doesnt have to deal if he doesn't want to. which leaves two revenue streams. The squad (Sell any player with a resale value) or sell the land, but then you go back to square one, as to buy the club with all it's liabilities wont generate any hard cash for chinny. I dont think it was just the lithuainians that antonov burnt,.... Chinnys in the poo
10. Armstrong, Holmes, Mick Mills, Ageboola....... whose the other one with his back to us... Is it Stevie Williams
11. Yep it absolutely will take a while. It will be dragged out over months, before he is sent back. But it doesn't really matter one way or the other. He is ultimately nothing to do with them anymore. The administrator owns his company and even he he gets off, he wont be putting anymore money into that cesspit
12. You could well be right, but I see it slightly differently. Chinney is now super exposed. He has a bank guarantee.......from a bank that can't honour it. His only way of recouping his money, is through the assets and all they amount to is the squad and the land. Chinney is in a corner and all he will be intrested in, is his money. I expect all players worth a sell on fee will be shipped out. If there are any budding or wannabe footballers out there, I would get down to Eastleigh and ask for a trial, I am not sure they are in a position to turn you away.

14. Agreeing with Corp is a dangerous game, it tends to come back and bite you on the arse within a couple of months. No need to turn on fellow Saints to make your point, regardless if you are right. For my two pence worth, the whole points decuction centers around one fundemental point; Sporting advantage or attempting to achieve sporting advantage. From where I am sitting, that case is nailed on beyond dispute. So i assume it comes down to whether there's a difference from using borrowed money to acheive sporting advantge, or using stolen money to achieve sporting advantage. If I had to bet on one way or another, I would put my money on the fact that they will get a points deduction, but then this is pompey, so who knows. Oh and now that corp has mentioned eclestone, in relation to WRC, i think we can cross him off that list. Although if it came from one of his legal buddies, who assured him that Chinney didn't have a charge, then it might have some legs, or indeed one of his financial whizzes, who cleverly identified, Snoras as a beacon of light in the banking world with no links to money laundering at all.
15. I would suggest all people without tickets , who want them regardless of whether they applied before or not, ring that number ..... I think there is still some up for grabs
16. Comment From Charles in Yorkshire Charles in Yorkshire : ] Good afternoon David - the article re payments due to our creditors in The News this morning reminded us of the commiments we have in coming out of administration. can you assure supporters that we have this finaicial commitment covered (eg; by forthcoming parachute payments). I ask this with concern now that CSI are no longer supporting us finacially. The reality is that these payments are nothing new. We've known about them since the club emerged from Admin, i think they were in the public domain back then and they have always been part of our business plan. I remain confident that we will be able to meet our ongoing commitments Charles. The first chink or half decent snippet - I think the above translates as havent got a clue how we are going to pay it

17. Nice work Sam
18. Antonov could of at least mislaid the money into Pompey's bank account, he didn't even get that right. CSI didn't steal any money from their banks... a director of CSI, Mr V Antanov, may have mislaid some money in one of his banks, but even that is not proven yet Still cannot understand why CSI didn't pay off all of our debts with the money thay supposedly stole from their own banks Guess where these quotes are from ....
19. I think he already has trousers, from the article in the news
20. sasha paid before unsecured creditors get anything????
21. Yes, that is sometimes what administrators do :)
22. That interview is on Saints player and worth a listen. Genuine emotion, when he talks about understanding how much it means. Intresting they have a "great week of motivation lined up" - Which sounds as though it is different to normal and the bit about "Forget the league campaign" has me believing he is going to pull this one off- check back in on Sunday for a shape chnage that wins the game or some inspired subs. It's only Tuesday and the nerves. adredalin and exictment have already started to kick in.

24. For those that are without tickets, judging by the other thread, you can still go down to St Mary's with ID and collect / buy them. I might have read that wrong, but looks like what one poster was saying
25. The typical rule of thumb is back and right, but as already pointed out there are exceptions
