There was Watford, Tottenham and Bournemouth as well. You could well be right, but thre will be something, even if it falls under financial irregularities and comes from the Liquidators investigation or the Insolvency commissions report.

I don't think he will go down, but I do expect a points deduction if he is found guilty

Very interesting. I have been very surprised at the lack of coverage, based on the fact that the press were all over just their pre trail hearings. Could the lawyer that told me someone had turned Queens, been right all along? Bizarre.

So 691 days later and it looks like it is all coming to an end. I echo Rallyboys comments regarding the timing and just hope someone reminded the russians about the court case that started 9 minutes ago. I can't help but think...........

You are the most pedantic, ignorant, abnoxious, conceited, poster on this forum. You know exactly what he meant.

So two more Saints Academy players will be plying their trade in the prem. Both captains today were part of our academy. We are starting to lead the way (Albeit, the work started mnay years ago) with bringing youngsters through.

Two teams heading for a place in the promised land ...... Both teams captained by Ex Saints Academy players

When the first reports started to come out, I believd apathy woudl rule and it would be swept under the carpet and nothing would be done. Today, they have turned on themselves and will ultimately kill themselves. FIFA as we know it will soon be finished. Other countries will have been sounded out, the "What if scenarios" are now "When" and once the breakaway countries reach 5 big footballing nations, it will be all over. We will already be putting pressure on blatter and his cronies. There might well be a world cup in quatar and russia, but they won't be World cups as we know them. The real ones will be taking place in England and Australia and then by 2022, it will be unified under a new body and back to normal.

This forum is very quick to knock other Saints fans........ I really don't get it.

A new body is formed and FIFA is no longer. The FA have already hinted that they are prepared to ditch FIFA. It woudl take three other big footballing nations to follow suit and things could happen. The problem is with FIFA is that it is rotten to the core.... It is almost impossible to repair without a clean sweep.

It is a house of cards and hopefully is about to come crashing down

‘We were very close to a deal a few weeks ago. There was a difference in our finances but we could have come to an agreement. ‘We weren’t that far away – 100 per cent he could have been ours. Still competing with Premiership wages...... Bizarre
-
I could have sworn that this week was the week it was all going to close with the takeover. Oh well, as pointed out above wages Tuesday - I'm sure chinny won't mind stumping up again. I wonder what Norris's signing on fee is.
-
Wouldn't have cost them a penny. This is a perfect freindly for Chelsea. There might be a russian connection, but last week, it was all systems go to be done and dusted this week..... 36 hours to go

Many moons ago, I worked for a company that had a cleaning divsion and one their contracts was SFC. Knowing sweet fark all about that side of the business, when the renewal came up, I removed the Club account from the relevant sales manager and ran with it myself. I worked with a real gentleman who was the then Club secretary called Brian Truscott. We had pretty much agreed everything in principle and it was just a case of drawing up the relevant paperwork and signing it off in the following month or so. The reality is that is doesn't really matter who the operating company is, it is in the staff that carry out their duties and know exactly what to do. Our MD at the time then decided to make some cut backs (Out of the blue) and proceded to lay off half a dozen people on Christmas Eve - One of which ran the operation for us at SFC with miltary precision and was the only one who really knew how everything worked their. In the following January, I arrived for what I thought was a formality signing meeting.... wrong on two counts. It was the first day after the Grobbelar story had broken and my company car (for some reason) had tinted windows and a private plate. On parking up in the club car park I was then surrounded by press and photographers, trying to see who was in the car..... Having parked up in the far end of the car park, I milked it a little bit and moved to the very front, nearest to the reception and that seemed to send them into more of a frenzy....... They were all very disappointed when little old me got out. Anyway.... the formality of getting the signed contract was replaced by the lambasting I got for us making this guy redundant. It then turned out that the Club had approached the guy directly about running the contract himself and helped him set up a proper company etc. ..... I think I was supposed to be gutted, but I wasn't, I was chuffed to bits for this guy and the Club, who were looking after someone that had looked after them. He then ran that contract for many years and across to Saint Mary's with a fair few staff and I think he also took on other contracts. Needless to say he made huge amounts more money that he would have done working for us and the Club trusted him and looked after him well. I see still some of the guys that worked for him, still working at St Mary's.

No further questions your honour

You understood perfectly the gist and whilst technically you may be correct it is a valid enough example, other wise terms such as "paki" couldn't be considered racist.

Its not MLT on twitter. We are not financed by loans. Go and bore someone else mlt

Which racist berk, wrote this sweeping statement. Completely agree, has always looked a deeply limited player to me. He was embarrassingly poor on his England debut against France. Typical English lump of a striker, no touch, no skill. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?27915-Transfer-deadline-day-thread!&p=952355#post952355
