  1. Add Bournemouth, West Ham and Southampton to that list
  2. I didn't get this either - Taunting other Saints fans about being plastic and the singers having season tickets. I love to see the ground full and if a few of the floating fans get the bug and start to come back on a regular basis...... well that's all too the good. I won't be able to afford a season ticket next season, but will get to as many games as I can afford..... guess that makes me plastic.
  3. I understand the sentiment, but the blue few really were a completely different kettle of fish They lied to the courts, they broke their promises to the FA, they tried to get agents paid ahead of other creditors, they promised to pay back businesses under 2.5k in full and they carried on signing players, whose contracts had mysteriously been paid up in full. And that's before the CVA, where they all but admitted that they had jiggled the figures, allowed secured creditors to vote on the CVA and used an administrator, who let's be kind...... Had previous. It was and is a web of deceit, that has seen no punishment, 100 million pounds written off and two fingers still firmly in the air. Yes, we and others have been in admin, but that is where the comparisons stop.
  4. The fixtures arent out yet, but the odds are; Joint second favorites for the title http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/next-season
  5. I think the huge grin, waving at the fans, lifting the trophy and celebrating with his son (I assume) paint a different picture.
  6. I posted this on another thread, but these guys are all out of contract at the end of the season. 8. Cotterill also announced young quartet Pete Gregory, Ellis Martin, Perry Ryan and Billy Goddard would also be released. I'm not entirely convinced clotterill has got his head around the fact he might need to play one or two youngsters
  9. An interesting last paragraph, cliaming the company has already been through restucturing and there is zero debt. Be prepared for some legal loophole that sees the third new company liquidated and the new, new company not liable for the CVA. Is this the finals throws of the biggest scam ever in professional sport? 130 million down to zero, with the flick of the wrist and a russian signature.
  10. skate8r.... You have mail ... and Cheers
  11. I'll take it...cant pm you, whats your email...oh and a big thanks
  12. http://www.afcb.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10324~2354002,00.html May be Phil was right
  13. clotterill has just released a rant on the news web site complaining that he is going to lose three players he has lined up. Shame. Wonder why he doesnt take a look at the youth squad.... oh yeah, he released them all. Shame.
  14. A little guess (And it is just that - not itk) ....Saints to wear the new kit on Sunday??
  15. If we win on Saturday we'll have more points than any second-placed team in the last 20 years Theres one for the stattos
  16. The fa are bloody useless.
  17. Back off the OP, whilst I think it is highly highly unlikely and genuinely think he loves it here, football is football and many many other stranger things have happened. We even signed the european player of the year once. It won't happen and if it does, it will more likely be the other way around of us attracting a very big name and pushing Nigel out, but again, just can't see it. The reality is he starts from scratch next season and he will be judged on his results. He has passed every test so far with the exception of his signings, which havent had enough of a chance to prove themselves.
  18. Would have thought you would have known you wouldn't beable to make it
  19. To nail this in one go - what are the chances of bucket collections at Saturdays game
  20. I haven't checked this out, but someone was saying we have also scored more away goals than anybody else in all leagues this season.
  21. An interesting article on the pompey site from one of their main mouth pieces and fans representitives. In a complete change of heart, they are now advocating that Sasha was a great chairman, served the club well and left them financially sound, it was just he sold it to a potless billionare arab. Now if you follow what has happened to daddy gaydamak in the last couple of weeks, you could be forgiven for thinking a few people are being softened up here..... but then a return would be to much even for this sordid story.... wouldn't it? We shall see.
  22. I am not sure if this was ever confirmed by the club, but i seem to remember some posts on here saying the installment plans would come back, once we had automated / electronic turnstiles, so they could block people who don't pay the installments.
  23. As the season ticket details will be released (We assume) relatively soon, what would be a fair increase? Obviously it is going to cost more in the Championship and ultimately this project (Cortese /Liebherr) has to be ale to sustain itself, so what ballpark costs will be acceptable and what would send the forum into meltdown. Just as a guideline these are the blue fews prices 2011/12 Season Ticket Prices: Fratton End/South Stand/North Stand – Adult First Phase: £450 – £19.56 per match Second Phase: £499 – £21.69 per match Fratton End/South Stand/North Stand – Junior First Phase: £200 – £8.69 per match Second Phase: £225 – £9.78 per match Fratton End/South Stand/North Stand – Unaccompanied Junior First Phase: £225 – £9.78 per match Second Phase: £250 – £10.86 per match Fratton End/South Stand/North Stand – Senior/Young Person First Phase: £300 – £13.04 per match Second Phase: £330 – £14.34 per match Family Enclosure – Adult First Phase: £340 – £14.78 per match Second Phase: £380 – £16.52 per match Family Enclosure – Junior First Phase: £115 – £5.00 per match Second Phase: £140 – £6.08 per match Family Enclosure – Unaccompanied Junior First Phase: £140 – £6.08 per match Second Phase: £165 – £7.17 per match Family Enclosure – Senior/Young Person First Phase: £200 – £8.69 per match Second Phase: £240 – £10.43 per match Wheelchair Disabled First Phase: £135 – £5.86 per match Second Phase: £150 – £6.52 per match Please note: Senior is aged 60 or over on or before September 1 2011.
