The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC
Gemmel replied to lenwilkins's topic in The Saints
This is your pleasantries in the first five minutes of this thread. As for what your saying being unpalatable, it has nothing to do with whether NI has or hasn't done anything to warrant this, it is the way he has been treated and the the club breaking its own charter (And exposing a breach in FA rules at the same time, so we'll just have to wait and see what the penalty is for that, but that's a different story) by refusing to tell him why. We don't need an explanation, I wouldnt give a flying fook if i never read about this again, but as a life long fan - home and away, he deserves an explanation ...End of. You have tried, convicted and sentanced him without having a ******* clue about the situation (Neither do I by the way) or even knowing the bloke and just very disappointed to watch Saints fans turn on one of their own, when the fact that the Clu broke their own charter means it's not even up for debate whether they are wrong or not. And just to bore you to death a little more; I used to cringe when Chorley and his croanies got on their soap box, but ultimatley they were doing what they thought best for the club. I didn't agree with any of it, but at least they got off their arse and did something about it, whilst we sat here typing ******. I don't agree with alot of NI's thoughts and comments over the years and that's fine, that's whats footballs about, but to laugh and say your glad and he can **** off that he cant get a season ticket, without having one shred of knowlegde, is very strange (Plenty of other words I could have used there) -

Staying quiet is against the club charter that cortese wrote...... So ultimately it must be wrong then????????????????????????????????? -

So far you've told us your glad about the situation. That he must have done something wrong And you'd be gobsmacked if he didn't know what it was. For all anbody knows he might deserve it (******* strange punishment though) but to not be told is a disgrace and then it turns out youve turned judge and jury all on the basis that you think the bloke has known along. Apologise my arse. Hope you get banned from St Mary's and no one tells you why. -

Then they should tell him why is banned from having a season ticket . As their own Charter states they will -

We won't find out, that is the clubs stance on the matter and why we are in breach of our own charter. Now we will wait to see the penalties. Dress that up any way you want, but it is unprofessional. I don't care if the answer is " We didnt like the font in which you published your last article". As a season ticket holder he is entitled to be told at the very least. What if you wrote something on here that the club took offence to, refused to sell you a ticket and refused to tell you why.... please answer that question. The apathy shown to a life long fan on here is incredible -
Um pahars is a top bloke, Thorpie is raving communist, but seems half decent and Dalek is just a freak. Actually looking back now, i think every school had one of each of these.

Am i going mad or am i missing something. A life long season ticket holder has been refused a season ticket without an explanation. Having been given assurances he would get one, he still hasn't. The club are in breach of their own charter for that alone and have been reported. Regardless of the reason why he was refused a season ticket, he has been treated terribly and the club is in breach and wrong (And I hope this happens to you now) if you flew over and for a game and they refused to sell you a ticket, I'm sure you would want an answer - wouldnt you??? -
Um Pahars Thorpie Dalek :scared:

Stolen off the blue few sit, I know that portpin have agreed to defer the interest payments, but are these figures correct;; In June according to the CVA our monthly player salary bill was £1.6M, by now, to service the CVA it should be £495K! I find this very unlikely. In addition, according to the CVA we are now paying £118k a month in interest to Portpin. Also to balance the books we needed to sell 13.5M worth of players in the summer and 4M in January! The CVA projected no money to purchase players. They also projected 14K through the gates for each match. If your owed any money by PFC I would be very concerned! And...by August 2013 our monthly player salary bill is forcasted to be £275K. I wonder what league that will be...

They requested one from the club. Go and read the report. You can try and spin it and argue as much as you like, this is wrong on every level and for all the fantastic things Cortese has done, this is just silly. -

Im afraid not Saint Clark ...... Apart from the fact that the charter was removed from OS the afternoon after it was announced that they were removing installment plans, but that is another story. FA handbook (And right down to kids football) ( I will go and check the exact wording) but the charter has to be available and accessible to all and where a web site exisists or tickets are sold it has to be one there. We are in breach which is why the IPO are reporting us. Oh and the club MUST have a charter -

How sad that at the end of a ground breaking transfer window and an away win tonight, such bitter and illinformed posts like this one are back on the board. Just for the record I have met Nick, don't know him in any other than to say hi to, with the exception of a converstaion I had with him, when our ref didnt turn up and someone phoned him short notice to fill the gap, which he duly did (And gave a very harsh penalty against me). The conversation was about his media work. You will not ever find a quote from him, claiming to be the voice of the fans or indeed to speak on behalf of all Saints fans (Despite the 20 posts already saying he does - You are all lying or are just sheep) He loved the limelight so much he offered on numerous occassions to pass it over to others (Some on this board I believe) but there were no takers. My understanding is that offer still stands, although you will need to check with him. Whether I think he is a nice guy or not is irrelevant, but one thing beyond question is he is Saints through and through and whilst you character assainate him on here, he is probably on his way back from Exeter, whilst you cyber warriors put the boot in. He is a ******* Saints fan, home and away, rain or shine and has been treated very very badly. What if one of you lot shout something at a player or a sing a song that the Cortese doesn't like and he takes away your Season ticket ( Not relevant for 99% posters so far on this thread). This is flip side to the brilliance he showed in the transfer window and at a time when it seemed it was picking fights with everyone. But just as the photographic ban was stupid so is this and lets hope he can back down gracefully as he did with that. Oh and Nick your wrong, the IPO is sanctioned by the footballing governing bodies, so the club can ignore but will be fined by the FL and just for good measure, the IPO have reported us to the FL for being in breach of our own charter....... Very professional.....NOT. We owe Cortese alot, but on this occassion he owes Nick. In passing, the IFO requests that the Football League explores whether the Club is in breach of League regulations by not having its Charter available on its website -
Some very strange ones as well; All payments of the CVA are up to date - Well they ******* would be, they dont start until next year. The owners have provided £1Million GBP in shareholder funds and underwrite a further facility, which at present we have not needed to utilise - Oh really? Later in his answers Lampitt admits Chanerai had to provide these undertakings to the football league in order to get their golden share. Yet the last report from UHY hacker says that they unable to pay out and admin and legal fess and were waiting for boteang and muntari money in January to pay them. Surely they could have used this facility then or doesnt chanerai want them anywhere near it? (Funny that they havent even agreed an interest rate) Note to Football league............SUCKERS. When will the revised total of unsecured debt be known? DL: This is likely to go on for some time yet. There are of course a couple of large amounts that are of particular interest, for example HMRC. HMRC recently made a general announcement that they may be willing to write off certain taxes prior to a certain date and we are hopeful this may have a positive impact on their unsecured debt - Yes Lampitt, we all genuinely and honestly believe that after you took them to the tune of 30 million, the fact that they our currently suing 3 associates and dragged the whole club through the courts, that they have had a change of heart and are about to write off a massive portion of the debt. Hmmmmmm, whilst i think the total debt total will come down, it will be for debt that didnt exist, but was perhaps needed to for percentage reasons for the CVA. Secured creditors – have the Sacha Gaydamak and Portpin claims been confirmed? DL: Not completely, although this work is ongoing And as this little one line question and answers falls gently under the radar........................ this is massive. Not sorted out yet???????????????????????? The very first time that Gaydamak came up on the secured creditors list, he listed the same charges against the same assetts as chanerai...... They are still fighting over who actually owns what (IMHO) lol....gaydamak is still out there fighting. Beautiful. Can you confirm the terms by which Mr Chainrai bought the club back out of administration? DL: I do not believe this is presently in the public domain and will not be made public. It is a private commercial deal. Surely the other creditors are informed????? What if it raised millions of pounds that could go towards their debts. If they are not informed, it could have all been a con...... oh.

Ok so its half an hour of my life that i am never going to get back, but very amusing none the less. The skates boards are in melt down and ratio of posters that "get it" to those that don't is still about 1- 1000. Thier level of intelligence is bordering on criminal. I think the problem is that when cotterill said he wanted another 5 players, they took it as red, that's what they would get. They still don't want to acknowledge the reality of the situation, but from this side of the fence, things are moving pretty much to plan. I do hope they have kept enough in reserve to make that first CVA payment.

Halo, that's a fantastic post and oh so true. I hope it finds it way around the Club itself.
