  2. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Cotterill-Latest-blow-won39t-get.6423565.jp "Andrew will be working very hard right now to bring in new players" ......... err sorry Steve, he's not, he's in Greece selling players

  7. Worth a read http://www.salaw.com/publications/articles/beware-the-ides-of-july.html
  8. Hatch it wasnt a dig, you could well be right
  9. This is something that i keep coming up with. Regardless of their antics, these guys are not stupid and are very rich. May Be Hutch is right and this has all blown up thier faces, but for me you dont gamble the sort of money Chanarai has on anything but win win scenarios.
  10. AA - 1o days ago; Chanarai is prepared to buy the club with or without a CVA Doh....keep up with your own statements aa
  11. (b) There were material irregularities in the way in which the votes of creditors were counted at that meeting. What like secured creditors voting, creditors who were not really creditors and who aa expected not being able to prove the debt getting a vote.....all of which were represented by...................... you got it aa. That's without the 13 million of the tax mans debt not taken into account. The only thing i can't work out, is that the world and their wife expected them to appeal, surley aa knew they would - still can't work out the end game........has it really been screwed up????? If we knew it was going to happen, as funny as he is , then so did aa
  12. Administrators had said they had lined up a possible buyer for Portsmouth, but any sale will now be delayed, or potentially halted, by the appeal. HMRC could therefore face a huge bill of compensation from Pompey if the taxman fails in its protest AA - 1o days ago; Chanarai is prepared to buy the club with or without a CVA Doh....keep up with your own statements aa
  13. It doesnt really matter does it - they just take it off the amount they are owed ....as they are only getting 20p (Over 5 years) in the pound, they are not losing much
  14. May be that is his tactic .......to deny he received it on time
  15. I don't know for sure, other than they go back cap in hand and try to re-negociate. Clapham is your man for those questions. But ultimately it's all about time, coughing and spluttering to the final parachute payment. ps Did you see the Marc Jackson thread :lol:
  16. Spot on -but dont think they will be - Happy to be wrong
  17. Regardless what HMRC do, the conditions of the CVA will never be met
  18. In essence Dbp is right, the club has almost actively discouraged season tickets, with the price rises, low key release, withdrawal of the payment plan, small window of time to buy one, the removal of half season tickets and no active marketing to renew or encourage new season ticket holders. I am not sure how anybody could really argue with that. However when you take into consideration the additional costs of buying individual tickets and therefore the potential additional revenue for the club, the argument could be that that is the cost of success and is ultimately what is required to build a promotion challenging, self sufficient club. If we match or better our attendances from last season, the club will make more money, that's not fag packet maths, that's just fact. So ultimately it's a trade off, but over an entire season, if you are looking purely at revenue, then it's not without risk. The whole philosophy is based on the fact we will be successfull and the fans will keep coming. Then you have to consider games that fans won't go to, (Whether they are on holiday or just don't fancy it) that would have been paid for with a season ticket, that will have no revenue from at all. Time will tell whether it was or is the right stratergy, but I wouldn't be surprised, if this timenext year you turn your radio on to hear the lastest renewal dates and the fantastic offers and benefits of getting a season ticket for the Championship.
  19. Oh and this gem..... Mr Andronikou said: 'HMRC want the club to have further points of penalty for a point of principle and nothing else. There is no logic in that stance. No logic ....no ******* logic??????????????? You have systematically and continously shown complete contempt, with two fingers in the air at HMRC and others. The only illogical thing would be if they didn't appeal.
  20. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Andronikou-critical-of-taxman39s-39brinkmanship39.6418199.jp aa's got the hump. Now i'm no administrator, but I'm not convinced criticising your biggest threat to your existence, is the best policy.
  21. BTF - We got there in the end (I knew we would) ... I completely agree with your post. There may of course be examples where they should be asked to remove it, but telling people what they can and can't wear would just be wrong and will never happen in this Country....and if it does, that's when we lose the very foundations it was built upon (Well the foundations we built after we raped and pillaged the rest of the World)
  22. I think this could have more serious ramifications than just a points deduction.
  23. Still rumour, but unless aa is trying to make himself a hero by painting the worst case scenario, it probably has some legs. I actually think if they do appeal, that is the best result for storrie. If they hadnt and they had gone after the Executives (As suggested in the Griffin report) then he would have had a lot to lose.
  24. Cant see talk sport getting the scoop on this one and nothing on any of the news wires. But lets just wait and see
  25. I dont think that HMRC will appeal now - But i don think they will go after the Directors / Executives.
