Cheers Clapham, I've been waiting for your take on the android. Assuming the CVA is not agreed, what happens then, do Hacker Young have to start again and look a bit more seriously at the Griffin proposal, o will android have lost to much face and have to stand down.

Indeed....page 15 If he makes it to page twenty, he'll be camped in London waiting for the South Africans to turn up

Ouch... you are right (Was sure it was an hour - Grey cells dying by the day)

'I've been on the phone to these people late into the night Now.... I'm sure aa works hard (As football scout, manager, chairman and the odd bit of administration), and this might be reading something that isn't there, but the time difference between here and the Ukraine, is only an hour...... I wonder whether aa realised this when he made the comment above.

This little gem at the bottom of the page fo you Gingetiss Seems the club were aware but couldn't say anything until after the FL AGM. Let's hope HMRC is ltd to 21% and no one is fooled by the ridiculous griffin proposal

Unite would probaly go on strike - BA can't win (Well they can and will on this particular strike)
-
It doesnt matter how much or how little they cost.....even if the administration charges are 50p or the extra tax 1p..... they CAN"T AFFORD IT. .... The union has screwed the company into 100's of millions of pounds worth of losses. They knew what the deal on the table was before they went on strike and now moaning after the event. I am surprised you are favour of so much unnecessary flying...... carbon emissions and all that. So if the bank is empty, who is going to pay the administration charges, the taxes, the BA employees who have to book the flights, check them in etc etc etc. You want Eutopia BTF.... It doesnt exist and certainly not in today's world. I would have thought someone like yourself would be disgusted at such abuse of rights and privilages that so many fought so hard for. YOu are doing nothing more than sticking up for the minority opinion, which im guessing you have done all your life. Very noble in many cases, but not in this case. The unions are about to blow all the work put in by their forefathers and when the strike is broken, the vast vast vast majoirty of this country will have seen them for what they are.
-
You just dont get it, do you..... THEY CANT AFFORD THE FREAKING FREEBIES ANYMORE. It's like going to the cash machine when you have nothing left in your account and asking for fifty quid and when it refuses .....calling the banks idiots. The unions have caused this, the losses are huge and probably have already killed the company. They were told what the financial effects of striking would be and now moan - after causing hundreds of millions of pounds more of losses, they STILL think it is their god given right. Many many thousands of people have had to give up more than just perks because of the economic situation, but the industries highest paid members just couldn't get their heads round it. As I have said before they are ****ing on the graves of all those people who fought so hard for the working rights we have today. Unite is not upholding those rights, they are abusing them. There is no public support for these strikes, there is minimal support within unite and even less support within the company. With such a high percentage of flights running, the strike is nearly broken. This has set the unions back years and could ultimately kill them off and you know what ..... if that is is how they behave, then may be that's a good thing.

It was the only play aa could have made and it's pretty ******* woolly, I wonder if HMRC helped pen the Griffin response.
-
To be fair it's only just got going; 1) Billionaire new owner - Fail 2) New Billionaire owner - Fail (Didn't exist) 3) 3rd New Billionaire owner / Creditor - Fail 4) Admin appointed 5) Admin - At point of failing 6) ??? 7)???? ???? 9)??? 10) ???? Long way to run yet
-
Because a lot of doule glazing companies put themselves through administration, drop the debt and return as an other - The same example as he was citing with companies that abuse the admin process.

I actually think the damage has already been done and can't see what AA's play is from here, outside discrediting Griffins bid. Which even if he did and found flaws worth 10p in the pound, still leaves him looking like a gimp. The whole Griffin document amounts to total humiliation of aa's ability to administrate, questions his ethics and implies more serious things, that given his previous record, will make it very difficult for him to work in this field for a long time.

The new Umbro teamware paper / magazine was sent out yesterday, to all youth clus etc. The website shows the Vasco kit in blue and white, but the hardcopy has a full page of it in Red and White with red shorts and socks. It has probaly been posted on here before (Can't be bothered to trawl back through) but I'm pretty sure this will be our kit. Old fashioned collar, but looks good

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I think a disfunctional 11 year old could lead the prosecution against gaydamak for trading insolvently and win. He could of course hot foot it to Russia with his Dad, but he still wouldn't get his hands on the money, so he might as well clear his name.......albeit for a cost of 32 million. But it doesnt stop there, the document clealy points to other Directors and Shadow directors, who would also be liable and I have a sneaky suspicion, that does NOT include, Tanya Robins, who seems to have a new best friend in HMRC. The hands have been shown, aa went with a bluff, whilst HMRC were holding the Royal Flush, and gave them enough rope to hang themselves. Ironically it actually saves pompey, although the penalty points and level of freefall that is bestowed on them remains to be seen. aa must be reeling - All the time he was signing autographs, another administrator was working in the background. aa says 20p in the pound and look how clever he is, the others say anything from 65p - to 99p and look how stupid he is. One lawyer lost his job when he got involved with pompey. How many days until it's two..............
-
That reads as well as Keats or Byron
-
I do belive that Southampton Football club are a creditor to the tune of 30k. Not the required 1% but everything helps
-
Bankrupt the company, all lose their jobs and then moan about the benefit system not including free flights. This strike laughs in the faces of all those that suffered so badly to win the rights of the workers that we all enjoy today. It is a total disgrace and will ultimately be the undoing of the unions as we know they.

lowe was the chief exe and chairman....wasn't he???

Different Ownership and Managment, same old summer
Gemmel replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
Alpine you dont have a point. We are 6 days into the transfer window, most players are on holiday, the world cup is about to start and historically this is the quietest time of the transfer window. The whole thread is totally stupid. The best you can do is stop digging. -

Becareful with your wording. I resigned with "immeadiate effect", wanting the company to take that date as my day of resignation, with a view to starting my new job the following month (Although i had 3 months notice, i expected them to let me go early) They duly obliged by not making me work the 3 months notice and let me go that day........ Had I not put with "immeadiate effect" I would have have another two weeks paid!!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/west_ham_utd/8717102.stm So, andriod didn't want any compensation (Bordering on illegal if he was entitled to some) based on what a top guy Avram was.......... Now when player gets a work permit to play football in this Country, he doesnt need to apply again if he changes team...... Is it the same with managers or is there something more to it? All major press releases are.....subject to work permit.
