Most large companies have some backend software, that automates a qualification checking procedure, criminal record etc. So it really isn't worth it. The recruitment software is also pretty smart, but there are different ways to ensure you return with the highest score and top of the list of relevant candidates..... and the recruiters will only ever work with the top 10 - 15% (And never know you beefed your score up)

Agreed. I was raving about his inteview all weekend and TDD, has given a spot on summary. Hard to explain, but he feels like one of us. It has been a long long long time, since a manager has been given such vocal support from the fans. Can't wait for next season. There will be no guarantees, but have a very strong feeling we will do just fine.

aa wants the CVA repayments spread over 4 - 5 years (Which means they are fooked squad wise for at least that amount of time) but then there is the (Now) 50 million of parachute payments - WHich im guessing is why lloydd is sniffing around. SPread over a long period of time and with the parachute money, there is a gamble out there somewhere for someone

Over and above all the other percieved underhand dealings, accusations and thoughts of impropriety, (Which may or may not proved), An appointed adminstrator has published and signed and document which has a 50 million pound delta between that and a court assigned accountancy firms "Statement of Affairs", for which the Directors were legally obliged to co-operate in full with and disclose the relevant information. I am am no expert, but unless I have missed something, either AA or story/other pfc directors is lying or has lied. Does that make them criminally neleglient, i don't know, but i have a feeling that a file is getting bigger and bigger and closer and closer to the man at the CPS.

A lot of what you say is correct, but nothing was "Done" on the day support was withdrawn. Support was withdrawn in two ways 1) The reduction in the overdraft facillity. Which was if my memory served me right, was just after the transfer window closed and we hadn't sold any players, but had infact taken on loan an extra player, which effectively increased our spending. The crowds were getting lower, the fans were very restless with lowe and it must have been very difficult for anybody to see how revenue could or would be increased. My guess is that Barclays were severely hacked off with Lowe for not selling anybody and the reduction in the overdraft was effectively a means to an ends. 2) The second and killer blow was a bounced cheque, which to all intents and purposes meant the club no longer had support of the bank and as a PLC, continued trading could have led to the Directors becoming personally liable for the debts. Another guess is that lowe was playing chicken with Barclays and didn't think they would risk what was owed to them for such a small amount of money.....either that or his calculator was broken that day and he didnt realise issuing that cheque would put them overdrawn. Four days before we went into admin, Mark Dennis announced on the radio we would be going into admin (In four days) and that they would structure it, so we wouldn't get a points deduction. Which as we know was exactly how it played out. What is not lost on me, is that had lowe not ousted Crouch, I dont think we would have ever gone into admin and therefore never found Markus. Crouch could keep the bank happy and susequently proved he would bankroll it when needed and I don't think his ego would have let him be at the helm, when the ship went down and we would have probably gone on to struggle for years. The bizarre series of events ultimately led us to Markus and it's all turned out ok, but we simply just got lucky. I wasnt a fan of lowe and thought he made some very very bad decisions, but as Duncan has said, take a look up the road and you realise he could have been worse. Time to confine , Lowe, administration and points dedcutions to the history books and enjoy the new ride. We've been through enough pain and division, bring on the good times.........

Kanchelskis. (Not in the five year threshold though) It was an abuse of the number 7 shirt. From one of the best players to grace the prem ..... to one of the worst. What the fook happened to him......was it really just age???
-
So are we and any other team, as he is into the last 6 months of his contract. He is no more their player than he is ours. If Reading want him, they will join the queue of any other clubs that do..... infact they will probably be behind on the basis that the other clubs will expect to pay a signing on fee and Reading might not feel so inclined, they could have extended his contract without one, but decided not to.
-
He is no longer their player. He is contracted to us until the end of the season and then is his own man. Reading will have to pay his signing on fee, like any other club.

Its not a right wing policy to do away with the NHS:confused::confused:

I don't think we will sign Antonio and Papa, and Antonio will be cheaper than waigo. Whilst money might not be the major consideration, I am sure that Pardew and NC will be working against a budget that includes transfer fees and wages and if thats the case, would probably spend the money somewhere else across the pitch.

Certainly not worth an argument BTF, but if you really didn't know that this is available to all parents, then you are probably not well placed to comment on the subject, espeacially to then question / imply that this may be down to his "Influence" was wrong.

You might want to read the post again.... I was saying it was not true that only govenors can take their kids out of school..... Anyody can do it. I took my lad to the World cup - all approved
-
That is quite simply not true. Any parent can take their child out of school for a holiday, as I have done three times. If the child is on target and meets the previous terms attendance requirements, then the holiday will be authorised as "Approved absence" (Much like sickdays) if the child is not on target or below the required attendance rate, the holiday will be listed as "Unapproved absence". (It's not quite as black and white as that, as obviously there is room for dialogue etc) If the childs "Unapproved absence" exceeds a certain amount (Not sure what it is) then the they can involve social services etc etc and the fines that we read about can be dished out. You post some good stuff BTF, but are prone to scaremongering, when it comes to politics, animal rights etc.

When you compare Mark Fry to android, this is either a stark contrast in terms of style / the way that they administrate or everything is done and dusted. Fry spoke of caution and the perils of the situation from the start of the process to the very end (Even when ML stepped in) android, Delayed the redundancies, didn't start the forensic accounting until after a month, has taken on some new ceo type bloke, the debt has increased to 100 million............ but everything is hunky dory and in place to be sorted, by the end of May (6 weeks), complete with a CVA. Theres no rallying call for interested buyers and the one that has shown any interest, he has distanced himself from (Probably quite rightly). Whatever happens, I will join the people who believed that Administration was nothing more than an orchastrated performance, that will see gadamak, baloo etc getting their cash out of the club...... I must admit though, I still can't see the circumstances / plays as to how that they will ultimately acheive that, but am resigned to the fact that they will and this was all just part of the plan from the outset.
