Brave, or foolish, or fake news?

The white shirts red shorts kit is magnificent. I'd be happy with that as the home kit, and classic yellow and blue 1976 as one of the away options.

I have hammered Puel at times this season, but: Puel is clearly a very decent man, and he is very likeable, what I have seen of him from afar. He seems humble and unassuming. As mentioned above, there are times this season when we have clicked and played sublimely, but also other, longer periods of turgid play. Dealt a poor hand, there is a sense that he could come good consistently with the right personnel at his disposal on the pitch. Let's hope Gabba is a big part of the rest of the jigsaw - he seems to be so far - and that we go on a hot streak from now 'till May. In the summer we need a goalie and defence strengthening, clear out the journeymen and crocked strikers and replace, to support Gabba. Then I think we could see the real, motoring Puel next season.

He's let himself go a bit hasn't he?

Fans superb. -
Quite - we aim to emulate these Pocket Super-Clubs, and in doing so, occupy a tier sitting just below the Champions League elite of Barca, Real Madrid, PSG, Munich et al; feeding them our developed players, but also scrapping it out for Cups, Europa places and the occasional Champs League berth too.

Well I hope the players are proud of themselves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't read such papers- clearly you do since you seem to know about their content! The only print paper I subscribe and read is The Economist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not the Mail or Express' words, old chap, but straight from Juncker himself:

A "hefty bill" to pay for EU officials' pensions and private health into the future. When will the penny drop with these insightless, grey mediocrities? This is a typical example of why people voted to get out. No more us being mugs paying to feather-nest jobsworth dullard Eurocrats.

The white strip is going to look sensational and our boys will win in it.

How much do you hate Man Utd and their fans?
adrian lord replied to chocco boxo's topic in The Saints
They are the equivalent Ferrari F1 Team in football, and as such, there's much to dislike: Arrogant fans (the plastics) Arrogant managers over the years - Docherty, Fergie, Van Gaal, and now Jose to name a few. Arrogant club persona Arrogant players - Keane, Keane and Keane! Expect and get helping hands form referees and the system in general - e.g. Fergie time, many dodgy pens, allowed to miss the FA Cup to promote pathetic, grandiose flop the Club World Cup. Red Won loads Massive sense of entitlement in club and fans. Think they are bigger and more special than everyone else and even the game itself sometimes; think the game relies on their presence and so will die if they disappeared. Their years in the doldrums after the Fergie era has dulled my dislike though - but I am not feeling sorry for them yet! -

Good stuff. On to Wembley. -

We have played some beautiful stuff under Puel, for frustratingly fleeting periods so far this season. It has been the one thing that has kept a flicker of faith in him for me, despite my trenchant criticism of much of what we have seen. Lets pray these fleeting purple patches coalesce and become the norm.
