  1. Let's hope we see this out professionally, with concentration till the end and a clean sheet.
  2. Excellent
  3. Ample evidence there that those contemplating tattoos should be assessed by a psychiatrist beforehand.
  4. I do seem to remember a fawning documentary a couple of years ago, and countless newspaper eulogies during the glory days of Poch and Koeman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. So, in recent windows it seems we have a policy of purchasing injury prone attackers and defenders.
  6. I am no Spanish scholar but my rudimentary 40 year old O level seems to tell me it might be Tha-K-eres?
  7. Black Box Modified:
  8. Agree. Strike force needs a total overhaul.
  9. In 2015 he was off sick for 17 weeks. 5 of those weeks with "muscle fatigue". 1x2 wks and 1x3wks. Suspicious.
  10. I agree, but it is all part of the due diligence when weighing up a signing - character and application and conscientiousness play a part as well as footballing talent. We are usually quite good at it, the odd slip aside (Osvaldo!). But we may need to make allowances and take risks on this guy that we wouldn't ordinarily do, given the hole we are in at the back. Indeed, he has all the hallmarks of a typical January panic signing!
  11. All 3 were rightly censured on here. I repeat, it's hardly a glowing reference, a drink-driving conviction after crashing into a bus stop, is it? People, families and children congregate and wait around at bus stops.
  12. No way. There's no point, as the so-called rotation policy means that the lineup in the final is pretty much a lottery.
  13. Unlikely. And on the other hand, collecting two drink driving convictions is virtually pathognomonic of alcoholism. So is he a teetotaller who got unlucky or a hopeless old soak? Probably neither, but it is hardly a glowing reference.
  14. The medical is obviously crucial. He's had exactly one year to recover from the Achilles' tendon. Has it been a success? Are there other problems? How aerobically fit is he? Mobility, weight, flexibility and acceleration? How long will it take to get match fit? We need help urgently.

    Puel

Indeed, a few lone voices have swelled to a deafening clamour.
  16. thank you for the belly laugh. Post of the week !
  17. Giggs has about the same level of charisma as Puel. None. FFS they even look the same-eyes too close together, swarthy complexions...
  18. Boufal, Tadic, Gabba, Redmond...an abundance of pace and skill. We should be tearing opposition teams apart.
  19. And look at Huth lumbering around like a prop forward at Twickenham....
  20. ££££ makers: VVD Bertrand Romeu Forster And dispose of 2-3 others from: Rodrigues Long Martina Austin Davis

  22. Can't disagree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I think the thing that will save us by the skin of our teeth is that the safety line may be well below 40 points this season. 37/38.
