OK OK, I haven't been on here for the last couple of days, can someone explain what this is about Chainrai trying to walk away with all the money and the HMRC being wise to it? (Before someone says I should have been more dedicated, there is a perfectly valid reason why I haven't paid much attention).

Chainrai has said he will pay running costs through the admin process, but when it gets 3-4 months down the line with no sign of other investment I wonder if he will still be so generous.

Pardew also said we were aiming for top two at the start of the season. Cortese also told the Charlton chairman we were aiming to go up as Champions. It's not "such a bad thing", but when people start suggesting Pardew should be moved on if we don't make the play-offs it gets a bit ridiculous.

Sorry, but the echo have taken that quote completely out of context IMO. Show me the link to the complete interview, thanks. He definitely said they have not been satisfactory, but I don't remember him even mentioning the play-offs.

Take a look on footballforums.net, all fans of other clubs think that Pardew is doing a good job under the circumstances and that we are the ones to watch for the title next season.

This worries me a bit, it's fairly obvious from articles that have appeared on the OS that they pay close attention to what's said on here.
