Because I believe he will be. I don't think he would of signed the contract he did if he wasn't prepared to play for another season.
Plus even if he did want to leave he is professional enough, IMO, to carry on playing to the end of his contract if we didn't want to sell him.
If you look further up the thread you will see I think Bart should have been kept in the side as well, but your comment here is not true at all. Davis was on the bench for a game before he was brought back into the side.

Lallana had two I can remember - one was a header which James produced a great save and the other was just a shot which was saved and tapped in by Barnard, which he should have left for Lallana to tap home.
When all's said and done, with a few hours rest and reflection, despite the fact that we played very well and could easily have won the game, I am still absolutely devastated...
If we were sitting back after going 2-1 down we wouldn't be feeling as proud as we do now - meaning, they would have showed a heartless performance and just resigned to the defeat.
