He had all the time in the world and he just chucked it straight in. In those situations, you should ALWAYS be going to the byline...

I think he's very good in CM, but I don't think his crossing is as good as people say.

I get it now, but I stand by my original point. When you stand there and pump the ball into the box without trying to get in a more dangerous position, then you are bound to create a goal eventually. In other words, I near guarantee you that if you looked at that "stats" page in our programme, James would have a huge amount of crosses already but hasn't even got 4 assists...

I'm not really sure what you mean by this, as that list posted earlier shows he hasn't even got 4 so far this season...

I have often said that for every one good cross of James' there are 5 or 6 absolutely shocking ones that either don't beat the first man or go straight to the keeper. Not to mention he NEVER goes to the byline, even if there is no-one within 10 yards of him as happened a few times yesterday...
