He didn't make a risky dribble, he received a pass under pressure (no idea why Manning passed it back when the reason Mccarthy took that freekick quickly was to get it moving forward) and then barely dealt with it. He also dealt with the ball at his feet several times without incident, passing it well under admittedly mild pressure but that's just being ignored.
