  1. What were your expectations? When I first got promoted they were to "attempt to avoid relegation", and I went down on the last day by one point, so I kept my job. If they were to "avoid relegation" then you will get sacked. Personally I don't see it as that bad a thing - I haven't got the heart to leave Saints and yet I do want to try different clubs.

  3. Exactly. But Corp and Mack have been telling us different.
  4. Had just gotten into the final of the FA cup, 28 points clear of relegation, and my computer crashed. F*ckity f*ck.
  5. Is it just me or is the south stand as long at the end as it is at the beginning? So now some fans will be staring at a brick wall all game or something? EDITED: not the away stand.
  6. There's a couple like that. Quite funny. What's also slightly less funny is that when I looked on TMS, just below this thread was the one titled "fat fookers".
  7. Have you not got one of your own?
  8. But our chances of staying up were greatly increased. Something Lowe, and the people who support him, cannot seem to understand.
  9. Ouch. Where in the season? What position? First team? Teams that look like going down?
  10. Got excited when I read "Rupert Lowe is searching for someone to succeed him as he looks to step down at Southampton". A few weeks later and Andrew Cowen is now sat in the driving seat. Great.
  11. It was reported by plenty of sources that Wrights wages were paid by Crouch himself. And I doubt Lucketti, Perry and Pericard amounted to more than £20,000 a week.
  12. I'd have asked for a lot more than £500,000.
  13. Exactly that happened to me yesterday actually. I hadn't really thought about it until you said it.
  14. Well you see we didn't carry on the good form we were in, so him and a few others disappeared.
  15. You do know that Crouch was only in charge for the second half of the season don't you? During which he sent Rasiak and Skacel out on loan to reduce the wage bill?
  16. Really, really funny.
  17. I wouldn't be so sure about that, he said himself that on the last few days of the summer transfer window he turned his phone off because he knew there were offers for him, but didn't want to leave.
  18. I hope so. Whilst the experiment at the start of the season was an utter disaster, i'm sure all of us would love to see a team full of home grown players.
  19. Championship teams would suddenly be a big draw
  20. I will be furious if we don't offer him a new contract.
  21. He'd pulled a muscle, what do you want him to do?
  22. He was in our youth team when we were in the Prem so he must have something about him. Personally the few times i've seen him i've been impressed.
  23. No need to get so arsey either, I think the club are charging way, way over the odds here. THAT was the point I was making.
