RE the Dempsey-Ronaldo comparison, I too cannot find a link but I distinctly remember seeing an interview with New Englands manager where he said that Dempsey was the American Ronaldo. Of this i'm 1000% certain.

Dempsey was also hailed as "the American Ronaldo" by his former manager - LOL. I'd suggest that when it comes to rating these players, it is the Americans who are being typically smug - blaize - and superior, not us.
