Very true, I take it back.

Surely if you could see the potential in Jones you can see the potential in Lancashire? He has a good build for a young lad, yes the timing of some of his tackles are off and he misjudges the bounce of the ball occasionally but that comes with experience. I'm pretty sure that after a year of playing in the first team he will be a good CCC player.

Don't understand why we keep sending players to them, Bournemouth fans are never grateful and always try to make out there is a rivalry between us and them.

In 8 days? That's quite a lot.

Is it just me, or does that look suspiciously like a cloud?

Sorry, feeling ill. :smt078

Seems odd to me. We lost one striker (Paterson) and we got one back (Saga), so why are we suddenly short? Unless of course Saga is going again, like Dyer.

Every player shuts their eyes 0.1 of a second before they head the ball.

So they do, but we don't. Am I the only one who finds that a little odd?

Let's not get mixed up here, our academy is in decline because we got relegated.

Obviously it will be hard, but we will have to adapt. Otherwise we will just be rolling over and letting our club disappear.

Blackstock was sold for £250k, the same as BWP, but with a massive sell on fee. Burley did NOT want to sell him, this has been stated by him, Blackstock, Lundekvam and Leon Crouch.

I always thought that the player only got his wages worth when he was on loan.

No, i'm just saying that if our academy did go to pot then it would not be the end of the world. We would just have to adapt.

Plenty of teams survive in this league without bringing through a couple of really good youngsters every season.

Well Strachan obviously rated McDonald because he is having a love-in with him at Celtic, and Blackstock said himself that he requested a transfer to be guaranteed first team football. Burley said he didn't want him to leave but wouldn't stand in the way of the player.

Since his days at Hull? That could mean from yesterday.

Misleading title, perhaps?

Blackstock and McDonald both wanted to leave. We didn't "let" them wander off.

We have to make sure our most prized assets are secure.

Ah ok then.

But not all of those are out of contract this summer?

Here's to not reading the original post.

Rasiak is another. They might include Smith in that list.
