He's shown potential (just like every other player in our team), but he seems to be lacking the confidence to take players on, choosing instead to cut inside. If we survive this season i'm actually pretty excited for next year.

Completely agree. There is potential in all of the players (even McGoldrick) it's obvious to see. The one person I think will dramatically improve with time is Lancashire.
