No, but it is rare for a youth player to transfer between Premier League clubs and then make zero impact whatsoever. Doesn't exactly speak well of our scouting/youth department.
I get that Alcaraz hasn't lit any fires so far this season but what this move would essentially mean is we've replaced him with Joe Rothwell. I don't see that as a good trade.
Probably to do with the fact it's being played the day after a mens home game. I'd imagine there's some kind of recovery/repair routine that begins immediately after the game which would be ballsed up by another game being played on the sunday.
