Just because a young player isn't ready for the first team now doesn't mean we should be comfortable with letting them go. Especially a prolific youth striker - look how much we've struggled with signing a decent striker ever since Pelle left. Producing one of our own would help save a huge amount of money. Couldn't think where else to post this but I'm getting pretty fed up of people saying that Newcastle are doing well "without really having spent anything". They've spent almost £300million since January last season.

I don't see how it could just be a fine. If they've cheated by spending too much money, how can you allow them to cheat their way out of proper punishment by spending more money? In these circumstances a fine just amounts to a bribe to make this all go away.
