I don't think that's fair, the one thing you can't criticise him for is his effort. It's the reason he consistently gets picked by different managers is the effort he puts in to close down and the discipline he has in maintaining shape.

His passing has been awful and the only times he's looked good for us is when he makes late runs into the box to get a header or a shot on goal, he needs to be hanging around the edge of the box more often.

Elyounoussi is due a good game, he'll score and assist today.

People do this shit for exactly this sort of reaction, by giving it to them we are just fuelling the fire. The best way to stop this happening is to stop talking about it. Let the social media companies and the police deal with it in the background if possible but stop this outraged nationwide reaction where we are all dumbfounded that somebody would post mean things and then we talk for ages about the radical changes we need to make to stamp it out.

It's not too late for draws at all. I had us staying up on 34 points which means we need 12 points from 12 games. With the games left I would expect us to win against Palace, Bournemouth and then at least one of Forest or West Ham, which then leaves us needing 3 points (3 draws) from the other 9 games.

I think the biggest thing we need to work on is even if we can't break them down, we don't lose concentration on our own defensive side of the game. Another clean sheet would be another huge step forward, regardless of whether we score to win the game ourselves.

I think i'd take a draw as well, but i'd want a draw from the Spurs game then too. If we win midweek then Spurs is another free hit game for me.

Really thought with his experience that he would cut across Martinez when he went through on goal forcing him to either bring him down or let him have a free shot on his stronger foot. Maybe he wanted to and it was just rustiness that caused the ball to bobble to his left. Either way, he's making a positive contribution and should keep his place in the team.
