  1. Even the best sides in the world have played shit under bad managers.
  2. Squad that could easily stay up. Manager determined to fuck it all up and say it was all in god's plan.
  3. We're 3 points off safety with a game in hand, in no way is it too late. That's the kind of myth redknapp tried to peddle, that we were too far gone and it was impossible to keep us up.
  4. Yeah there's no way. I actually wouldn't mind Perraud playing further forward, but there's no way that's the formation with that line up.
  5. Why are we the only team in world football that waits to start new signings ffs.
  6. How do you calculate that I wonder.
  7. Domenico Tedesco for me.
  8. Some incredible rewriting going on in here to try and defend him. No howlers? How about throwing the ball in his own net ffs. How about letting in shot after shot after shot that is within a foot either side of him. How about having the worst save percentage of any keeper in European football. We would be 5-10 points better off now if we had Forster, Cabellero or even McCarthy in goal, I have no doubt.
  9. The follow one is actually alright, it's just ruined by ending it mentioning an OK player who's career may already be over through injury. Bit embarrassing singing about him like he's Messi.
  10. I agree. If only there was a game in between the two Newcastle ones which he could have rested Lavia in.

    Fans Forum

"Nathan, we have the fans forum next week". "I only answer to God".
  12. Bazunu is not OK and to claim he is amounts to burying your head in the sand.
  13. Jones also likes to play a right footer at left back and his new championship buddy with crossing to match on the right. Not many good crosses for Onuachu to get on the end of unless he starts playing Perraud and KWP. Edozie has been played on the right wing more recently, I think we're trying to train him to get to the byline and cross rather than cut inside.
  14. Interesting. I got my stats from whoscored which says it's taken from Opta - same as FBRef. I think I'm just going to disregard all of it and wait to see him play as FBRef says that he has completed more dribbles per game than Mbappe and Messi, which I find hard to believe.
  15. Actually a good point. He doesn't need to move his body that quickly to cover ground quicker than most. Another way of putting it is if he has the same amount of pace as Adams he should still move much quicker than him.
  16. From 3-1 to injury time you couldn't hear anything other than the Saints fans, despite the myth building pre-game that it would be an atmosphere to remember your entire life. Well done to those that went.
  17. Had the remote in my hand ready to turn over the second I saw the ref put the whistle to his lips. Glad I did as I've heard people describe it as sounding like the commentary team were wanking each other off as Newcastle celebrated.
  18. Don't think I ever said that. Vitinha and Beto struck me as more of the same, smaller forwards who dribble the ball and don't score regularly. Onuachu is a unit who has score consistently his whole career.
  19. Yep, he left to play, can't argue with that. Ungrateful little prick.
  20. From what I can tell the biggest draw for this guy is his dribbling ability, but looking at the stats his "successful dribbles per 90" (so how many times he goes past someone) is 1.1 which puts him 125th in Europe. Amusingly, 2 places above him in 123rd? Moussa Djenepo. The guy is only 20 so maybe there's something there but bloody hell, it's a lot of money for someone who hasn't even performed in the French league and can't even get in the Ghana team ahead of Jordan Ayew.
  21. Genuinely really excited by this signing, more so than I would of been by Vitinha, Beto or any of the other strikers linked.
  22. Composed when playing in a back 4, lost when playing wing back, but obvious limitations. Honestly don't see the point in his signing as I don't think he'll perform any better than the likes of Lyanco or Stephens when they played there.
  23. Yet another great option for keeper available while we have Bazunu.
  24. They said earlier that all we were waiting for was signatures - maybe he was waiting to see if he'd be playing in a cup final for us?
