Chelsea and Leicester home games moved for TV
Saint_clark replied to marc_saint's topic in The Saints
The important question is, how far ahead can I now book time off work without risking a game being moved? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk -
You're only listing the fan zone as a cock up because you don't like it.

Not a well known name, but historically a decent sized club. They've won the Bundesliga a few times back in the 70s I think. Promoted to the top flight last season after a couple of years out of it scoring 84 goals in 34 games so potentially a real test for our defence.

Isn't the point that players like Targett who we might not see as good enough still raise much more funds than they cost which enable us to sign the players we want?

Looks OK. Won't be going there though.

Sarcasm I take it as the first links appeared at least 7 hours ago. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

As someone who used to work in catering it's honestly the most frustrating thing in the world watching them slowly shuffle about, some of the most inefficient service I've ever seen. Quicker you serve, the more you serve, the more you earn. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Going about it the wrong way, will struggle this season (villa that is). Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Yoshida is our first choice centre back at the moment. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Way it's going we'll start the season without the kit on sale - this kit could be the worst for sales ever if that's the case.

What are you on about? They signed Alli 4 years ago as a 19 year old from a League One side, that was before transfer fees went uber crazy but even now a teenager from League One wouldn't cost huge amounts. Kyle Walker they signed in 2009 from a relegated Sheffield United. 2 years ago he went for £50million to City. Dier they signed from Sporting CP 5 years ago while his contract was close to running out. Eriksen was a bargain but as somebody else pointed out, you wouldn't get Ajaxs best player for £11million anymore - they've sold two players who arguably aren't even their best already this summer for £76million and £67million.

Couldn't see that in the article you linked, is that confirmed? Seems the papers would have made a huge deal of that if it was true.

Had this on my list to watch for a long time now, seeing the recommendations on this thread i'll give it a go as soon as i've finished watching Sherlock (for the first time). I generally enjoy skipping shows when they first come out and coming back to them years later, not only do you not have to wait for new series to be released but it means there's a constant backlog of "classics" that you can almost guarantee you will enjoy.

The last competent, attacking minded coach we had was Koeman and he oversaw Longs best season for us so far.
-
My missus is an Arsenal fan and was desperate for them to sign Fekir on the cheap instead of Zaha, looking at that fee I might try and hide the news from her. Screw it, at under £18million we should have been taking a look - crazy to think if we hadn't bought Carillo we could have bought Fekir this summer.
-
This is why I keep thinking Long will have his best season yet for us, especially given how his attributes fit with the high press and his finishing as looked much, much better in pre-season. Ralph even specfically mentioned how they were working on Longs finishing.
-
Certainly seems a bit disjointed, with the start of the season only just round the corner.

Well enlighten us then instead of this nudge nudge wink wink ********. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I think the absolute pinnacle of what we could achieve without massive overhaul to the game in general is a Europa League win. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Another thing that annoyed the hell out of me - shortly after they mentioned the meeting with Southampton city council regarding land development, Blackmore asked the floor if there were anymore questions for the boardroom level. Perfect opportunity to ask what the meeting was about, what the ideas are for development, how likely they are etc but nobody said a damn thing. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

I was encouraged to hear that Gao fell in love with the area 10 years ago, then thought if that were true he would have probably learnt more than "about 10 words of English". Seems there's a bit of embellishing going on with regards to his motivation. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Some really interesting points, other than the woman who seemed like she had too much to drink and asked "if you had unlimited funds who would you sign". Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
