Don't think anyone is trying to make any kind of political statement with it, it's just a fairer and more competitive way of doing it. You could be the worst team one season and with some shrewd additions in the off-season be in the superbowl the season after.

Other than Hojberg for Romeu that's probably the team I would have picked. We now need to back it up with an attacking performance - get the ball wide and get crosses in for Carillo, Boufal, Lemina and the opposite winger to attack

The NFL style with wage caps and a draft at the end of the season is a great model, honestly wouldn't mind a complete revamp of football along those lines. Will never happen though.

Just Carillo then. He might make a difference but we should have strengthened and replaced more. Hopefully we have enough about us to stay up.

I said in the summer that I would have given him till january, but would understand why if he got sacked. So I don't blame anyone for what happened, just an unfortunate set of circumstances.

I never said too young, I just said young. As in there's plenty of time left to improve with experience. Centrebacks for me generally peak between 27 and 32.

Still young for a centreback, hope we stick with him in the first team as his weaknesses are areas easily improved.

No point bringing Carillo on when we aren't going to go forward anyway.

I am not convinced and I never said I think he is alright. However, I no longer want him out at all costs and I will start going to games again - for the time being.
