  1. Why on earth are the Pompey band playing "Oh When the Saints"
  2. Stuck it all on Plymouth 4th, returns £377
  3. Thank'ee
  4. Managed to turn £40 in £92 betting on Plymouth first, second and Reid to score anytime Stuck it all on Plymouth to get the third, returns £184.
  5. No Vergini? Ball dropping down over his shoulder, on the volley....Van Persie scores that everyone goes nuts
  6. Fake. If that actually happened people would be going mental not just slightly cheering.
  7. Regardless, it is literally the only testimony/evidence. You're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but I am unable to see how he was proven guilty beyond all reasonable doubt in this case.
  8. If you read more on the link then she clearly gives consent further on (according to them) even telling Ched Evans what to do.
  9. I'm not trying to make him out as a victim, I'm just pointing out how ridiculous the situation can be when you take responsibility away from someone who makes a conscious choice whilst drunk.
  10. Yes, but this is always something that really irks me. If a woman says yes when drunk, she's given her consent. Don't give me the whole "unable to" ********. Everything else you do when drunk - hitting someone, breaking something, driving - you are held responsible for. Why not giving consent as well? People can often be drunk (see: over the limit) and appear perfectly normal, so how are you supposed to know if she's given her consent or doesn't know she's given consent? Also, was Ched Evans stone cold sober? Or was he drunk as well, in which case surely he was unable to give consent and they were both raped...? It's a ridiculous loophole that needs closing. People see drunk and straight away assume they'd unconcious (and in that situation it obviously IS rape!) If a woman gives consent however, then that should be that. If she regrets it the next day well then tough sh*t, we've all done stuff we wish we hadn't when drunk but guess what - we chose to get drunk, we have to take responsibility for our decisions. Apologies for going off on a tangent here!
  11. By those who prevented him I assume you mean the state, it's not Sheffield United (or anyone else in footballs) fault if the courts make a wrong decision, they can only work with what they know.
  12. If he does he cannot expect a transfer in the summer and i'll be p*ssed if he tries to get one. If he doesn't then I won't begrudge him a move.
  13. To be fair his injury was a result of a challenge intended to injure. Few of those from Leicester, particularly one on Tadic where the defender won the ball fair and square but his trailing leg was high in the air and caught Tadic full on in the back of the knee.
  14. Hope he plays V Italy, i was hoping to see Pelle run him ragged.
  15. Excellent, 5k Saints fans up there would make for a hell of an atmosphere, especially if we perform well in our supposedly tougher run of fixtures!
  16. Oh, f*ck off Spurs!
  17. He's clearly worth more than the amount agreed though. It's also dangerous to assume that every signing we make will turn out as good as the rest. Why not bung them a couple of extra million, which he is completely worth, and get someone we KNOW can perform in this league for us.
  18. If true then just offer them more FFS.
  19. Guessing it's one per season ticket?
  20. Referring to all those players in one group is akin to saying we have X amount of defenders in the squad and paying no heed to the depth of individual positions. In our team, the role of the centre forward and the role of those playing just behind and out wide are VERY different. There is no-one - with the exception of Gallagher who only has the potential - in our squad other than Pelle who can play that role right now. Not even Rodriguez was effective enough as a lone striker holding up the ball on the occasions he played there the last two seasons.
  21. Wouldn't it just be amazing to know going into this game that a win could take us 7 points clear of third...
  22. Acceptable? 7-9 points would be absolutely fantastic. I'm hoping for 4 as an acceptable amount, 3 at bare minimum.
  23. Forster was only 6 yards out? Fonte did really well to put him under pressure without actually fouling him, Wood was obviously in two minds about going down
  24. Out of interest, if a persons 5th yellow card is their second in a game (so they get a red) does that mean two games missed or is it just the one?
