As above, it looks smart on the players - a shirt that basic would be hard to make look sh*t - it's the lack of individuality that makes it sh*t.

This is the big thing that annoys me, and I seem to be mentioning it all the time but hey ho - why pay money to someone to design a kit for us if they're just going to give us a template? Cut out the middle man and produce them yourselves ffs.

Also just noticed the marketing image the club have been using for ages features an all red background, three white stripes and a gold club crest. All pointing to this being right.

It does on the header picture on the save our stripes facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/groups/saveourstripes/ However, there are also white triangles under the armpits in that photo which aren't in the one above, and there seems to be a lot more white on the sleeves than in the one above.

Completely forgot about him...can hardly blame me. Fair enough, if Mayuka steps up then we're fine. But if we sign no-one and Mayuka flops, it's a big mistake from the management.

Beyond Lambert and Rodriguez, who do we have to play up front? Next best option is Guly who, although I think does a job as back up for the attacking midfield positions, isn't good enough to play up front in the PL. Need to sign another striker.

I'm not fussed about having a mostly red kit, as long as it's good - or more importantly, different to what's already out there. I hate the idea of having template kits. Agree with what's mentioned above, let's have the sash kit full time from now on.

If you look at where the white triangles would be under the armpits on the Saints kit, it looks a different shade of red like it's just been coloured in...

Having seen the Bristol City kit, I've changed my mind. Why do they do this? We pay out all this money for a big name kit supplier and get generic sh*t. Why do the club not use some of the templates mocked up on this forum ffs, they are always good.

Quite like it actually, might get it...but it annoys me that we pay these designers so much money and they come up with something so basic.

Agreed. I watched that walking on water one and whilst everyone else was creaming themselves I was just bored thinking "what am I supposed to be getting out of this?". We all know magic is fake, obviously it is - but it's supposed to leave you wondering HOW they did it, not thinking "Oh they had a room full of actors AGAIN".
