  1. Indeed, he seems to be implying that pre-season last summer was quite slack.
  2. I don't believe anyone said that De Ridder or Lee would be playing for a top 4 club.
  3. Anyone? Let's get Olivier Bernard back then, shall we.
  4. Of course it's a deal breaker, that's still a lot of money whatever ridiculous fees are thrown about these days. Do you think Celtic would have sold for £8.5million, £4million less than the fee is rumoured to be?
  5. The fact he's out there is evidence enough. If he wasn't involved he'd have been left behind like others have.
  6. FFS the players are useless at singing, clapping along with happy birthday and speeding it up. Surprised one of them wasn't banging on the back boards as well.
  7. Same here, it's really starting to look like the 3 promoted teams will go straight back down...
  8. At the time someone from Wembley said that it was closer to 60,000 Saints fans, but there's no way of proving it. Although I think it may have been tongue in cheek, there was certainly more than 44,000 Saints fans there. Easy to work out when you look at the ticket sales. 73,476 tickets sold in total (Saints, Carlisle and Club Wembley). Carlisle only sold around 22,000 tickets, leaving 51,000. It's fair enough to say that some of those club Wembley tickets might have been Carlisle fans as well...if it weren't for the fact that they didn't even sell their full allocation and actually returned over 2000 of them. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/5050349.Carlisle_give_back_Wembley_tickets___but_it_won_t_help_Saints_fans/ That means that there were "officially" 7000 neutral fans watching the game. Seems a tad unlikely to me. We had over 50,000 fans there - the skates can deny it all they like, but it's the truth.
  9. When talking about the size of the club today? Absolutely nothing.
  10. Yeah, but once you're p*ssed out of your face you just have to lie down/close your eyes for a second and you're out like a light. Probably nothing to do with the punch (him being down for so long).
  11. Not angry about it in the slightest, not sure why you'd think that. You just seem to have this weird fixation on how other people conduct themselves. Maybe it is sad, maybe it isn't - but what's it got to do with us?
  12. Because now the only cover at RB is moving Cork out of midfield or playing Yoshida there (and he was at his worst in the fullback positions). Unless Stephens or Chambers are ready to step in.
  13. I'm still a bit disappointed we let him go, but it may have been his own choice - wanting first team football.
  14. Says the bloke who gets embarrassed if a Saints fan posts something mildly stupid on another teams forum.
  15. This is a great signing, but something about the way it played out and his first interview makes me think he's not overly excited about being here. That may well change once he gets started, but I wouldn't be surprised if things don't end well between him and the club/fans in a year or two.
  16. Celtic chant is a cracking one. Shame we didn't know about it earlier as Schneiderlin fits perfectly into that and would be a lot better than his current one...
  17. I'm starting to think this is Glasgows twitter account, "revealing" info shortly after it's already been revealed elsewhere.
  18. Nice and selective there.
  19. In fairness, he was responding to the ethnic demography rather than amount of immigrants.
  20. Don't be a mug. The only reason you think there are far more black or asian people is because you notice them more - how many hundreds of white people do you walk past and pay absolutely no attention to? Yet you see 2 or 3 black people in the space of 10 minutes and suddenly "they're everywhere".
  21. So is that Fulham one the same day, just later kick off?
  22. Indeed. We were also forced to play very understrength sides in the League cup, hopefully we can have a good run this time.
