  1. No reason for this not to be posted in the match thread.
  2. hth.
  3. Those stats define anything further than 20 yards as a long pass.
  4. I'm getting fed up of our players refusing to play the early ball. At the start of the season we countered really well, now instead of playing it immediately out to the wing or down into the channels, we turn back inside and knock it around in the middle of the park.
  5. Been our best performer so far according to the commentators.
  6. Oh well.
  7. Varney hits the cross bar after a poor back pass from Seaborne.
  8. Sounds fairly even to me. I've heard Guly mentioned a lot, Mayuka mentioned a fair bit, Chaplow and Lee mentioned probably once each.
  9. Luke Varney misses from 4 yards, Leeds fans thought it was in. Offside anyway.
  10. Guly is actually playing in his proper position for once, he was playing out of position when on the wing or up front. (Not that I don't think he's done well in those positions).
  11. Yes, that's exactly what's happened.
  12. Jesus christ. What's wrong with having faith in the youngsters, as Adkins clearly does?
  13. Are the commentary team sat in amongst them? Sounds very loud for that many.
  14. Saints fans are in good voice, any idea how many are up there?
  15. That isn't what I've heard from his interviews at all. Indeed, after West Ham he seemed very, very p*ssed off with the players.
  16. Urgh. Fox stuck with his man - Lennon - and it was Lallana that got continually done by his - Walker.
  17. This has been productive.
  18. I have to say I didn't notice it at all - however, Puncheon did fall over once down at the Kingsland/Northam corner. I think you just mistook the two.
  19. He was spot on with that, the one thing that did annoy me was the comment "Spurs came flying out of the blocks yet again". Well they didn't, we were on top for the first 10 minutes.
  20. On both occasions Fox was closing down Lennon, the player getting in behind was Walker - Lallanas responsibility.
  21. So what's the answer then? Switch to complete 4-5-1 and lose the majority of our attacking threat, where our strengths lie?
  22. We played 4-4-2 today.
  23. I didn't notice anything. Adkins said that a couple of years ago, add it to his list.
  24. I don't think you've thought that through - that statement implies that Sharp is better than Lambert. In all honesty, I don't think Sharp would make much impact at this level.
  25. I don't think he'll be able to, he's a short full-back. Much like Rafael V Lambert, if he comes up against a player with a few inches on him AND a good leap, he's got no hope. His best option in those situations is to let them have it and try to put himself in the way of the goal.
