Shame, he was important for them under Lambert.
-
Jesus, he was 20?? I thought he was 17/18 at the time. He hasn't even improved.
-
The end of the world is clearly just a ruse to distract those who bought a ticket from the fact Atlantis is under the ocean.
-
This can't be right, I thought we were totally impossible to work with and not respected by anybody in the footballing or local community?
-
As good a reason as any to look up the Shteve McLaren video. You know I can fully understand picking up an accent when you live somewhere...but losing your grasp of basic grammar? "He ees Argentine, I English....ees big difference".

Exactly, I don't care about others opinions, I just want to make sure mine is heard. To this end I'm in the process of putting every single user on the ignore list and posting purely based on what thread titles say.

Jumped before I was pushed. Enjoying the forum a lot more now that I don't have to read all the crap that gets posted on here.

Get over it for fvvck sake.

'ex saints and england legend' persona non grata
Saint_clark replied to spyinthesky's topic in The Saints
Just had a look, cannot find anything about an Empress Heights launch or Matt Le Tiss on their website. Happy to hold my hands up if I'm wrong though. -
Ramirez as a choice between the two, but I would absolutely love to have Chamberlain back in the side (as well as Puncheon is doing).

You're right, he is. And that's why they want people to think it's Le Tiss by not actually naming him. -
Jays goal was clearly onside, how anyone can disagree baffles me.

No, the advert is worded like that so as to engage as much interest as possible. People will be thinking it's Le Tiss, Shearer, Channon, Keegan etc...when in reality it will probably be Le Saux, Beattie or some such. -
The weather and the risk to Wednesdays game
Saint_clark replied to bangkoksaint's topic in The Saints
Think it's meant to be dry, but much colder. -
As far as I could tell we stopped using it a while back. For evidence from yesterday, watch the free header Demba Ba gets in that goes straight at Gazza (it's only on Sky match choice). Lambert is marking him and runs with him from the near post to the edge of the box, getting blocked off along the way.
-
Really? I've never seen anything that special from him, aside from the goal V Reading (even then, he nearly missed).
-
I think people will be surprised. We've got 3 games in 6 days here, there will be rotation. Do we rest players midweek, or do we go for it and change it up next saturday accepting that a loss is expected at Anfield?
-
His best position is, unfortunately for him, the one that Ramirez has nailed down. It's where he played before he came here. For us though, his best form came playing up front.
-
So who do we then have as back up instead of those three? Sam Hoskins, Callum Chambers and Jake Sinclair?
-
Entirely different situation. We shouldn't blindly hold onto every single player on our books just in case they come good.
-
Unless we find better, there's no sense in selling the likes of Guly, Chaplow and Lee. Guly in particular at the moment is in the same category as the players in your first sentence, and I actually think he could do a job for us off the bench in some situations. All the others in your list however I agree should be moved on.
-
His signing and Tadanari Lees, coupled with the ads in Japanese like you mentioned, has made me wonder if the shirt switch to red is similar to Cardiffs attempts to appeal to the Asian market.
-
I don't think anybody has ever said that. Why are people so keen to work in absolutes on here? You're either with Cortese or with Adkins, but you can't be with both. You either hate Guly and want him out the club ASAP, or you love him and think he should play ever second of football, but you can't appreciate the fantastic job he did for us in back to back promotions whilst also realising he's not good enough to start for us now.

I'm not so sure the linesman did make the decision on the first one. Him and the ref looked at each other for a good 20 seconds before the ref hesitantly gave it Newcastles way.
