You do realise that Chaplow, Lallana and even Guly for most of the season count as the midfield, right? As well as Holmes and De Ridder who have both scored this season.
Anyway, i've never thought of Cork as a more offensive player. I've seen him as an all round, box to box midfielder who is slightly better defensively - when he played for us on loan he mostly played at CB and we all raved about him.
