Jaidi certainly enjoyed his goal.

Barnard would have buried some of those chances without a doubt, but don't forget he's a midfield player. He still linked up quite well, and looked better when running the channels IMO.

Even forgetting the goal, he looked much sharper and much more aware today. Won almost all of his headers (can remember one that he didn't - but he won a free-kick for that anyway). I have complained about the massive break in games but if it means we get the real Rickie back, then i'm more than happy.

I think it was rather because he was not as proven as Puncheon, but hey ho.

Not a completely fair comparison as Puncheon was in the first team all season long for MK Dons and us, and Antonio joined us relatively late and was on the bench a lot. But I agree with you that Puncheon was one of our most effective players last season.
