  1. Skipping a lot
  2. Nowhere seems to be working...
  3. This was working but no stopped. Any others working?
  4. Just seen a tweet saying the game is being shown in The Castle Pub so guessing there must be a stream somewhere. Anyone know of one?
  5. Quite likely. I guess only time will tell if he goes on the 'WUM list'
  6. Also, why weren't Brighton fans arrested for singing '1-0 to the nancy boys'?
  7. Well if there was only one arrest at half time, it must be the same guy. I was stood next to him and he wasn't over offensive. In fact, I don't think he even joined in with the boring boyfriend chants. And yes, I also had a problem with the number of officers involved. It created a situation that could easily been avoided. And what exactly is 'over offensive'? Surely offence is subjective? What if I'm totally overly offended by the smell or look of someone? Can I complain? Can I get this overly offensive person objected? As already mentioned, it's PC gone mad!
  8. I see that Liverpool have enquired about Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace. They rate him at £10m!!! I've seen him play 6-7 times this season and thought he was absolute pants. 9 times out of 10 he would lose the ball trying to do something needlessly clever. Then he would pull it off after 9 times of trying. He hardly ever passes and apparently has an attitude problem. Why the hell are big clubs willing to pay so much for players like this? He's not actually got that much pace to be honest. To me, he seems like the easiest type of player to mark. Stick close and kick a bit, job done I really dont rate him, but it seems he'll get a big move just because when he does pull of a bit of skill, it looks great.
  9. Why the hell would Spurs want Lallana? He wouldn't even make their bench. Lallana would do alright in the prem, but only for a lower side like Bolton or Wigan.
  10. Just eat what you enjoy and therefore enjoy life. Worry also kills you, along with depression.
  11. At Brighton away one guy got arrested for being near a group who were chanting homophobic chants. They then decided to arrest him in front of all the saints fans at half time which involved around 30 stewards and 20 police. Totally over the top and caused a situation that could have easily been avoided.
  12. I would say the £7m spent by Wilde/Crouch to get us to (just) the play offs, on top of the wages some of those players were on, had something to do with us going into admin
  13. The last few pages of this have genuinely made me laugh out loud. You seriously couldn't make it up.
  14. Something to help push through the Hooper deal?
  15. He did. And when they want to ban it completely on trains, they will use the 'success' of underground ban as an excuse
  16. I give it only a few more years until it's illigal on trains too.
  17. Heard Liverpool chanting it today against Citeh. Cant get much more of a traditional club than that. Same with Celtic. I also go to a lot of league 2 games as I live in Plymouth. Plymouth sing it, as do a few other league 2 clubs. HTH
  18. Because it sounds good and has great volume. There are no songs which are original. All songs get copied so if other clubs sing it, so be it.. And with regard to it having not enough words, 50% of it has words. Just like the Lambert song and many other songs we sing. Maybe its too modern for our flask carrying fan base
  19. Whatever it is, there will be 5-6 posters who don't like it and they will post at least 3 times a day about how bad it is.
  20. Palace have always been cakc. Recently they have formed some 'Ultras' where 200 people or so sing a lot. However, the ground itself is still silent. Last night (In a semi final they were winning) they were quality This seems to be the popular song with a lot of fans recently, and I like it.
  21. I think it has as much to do with the fact that it (Titanic) is pretty much what Southampton is best known for. Football clubs all over the country are the defining part of a town/city. This club in particular is making massive efforts to be part of the community. Therefore, I think the club should do something. It's not like they have to do something every year for it. But this is to mark 100 year since a tragic event happened that not only affected countless people within our boundries, but also has become part of what Southampton is. Sorry if you disagree. EDIT: I see you also mentioned the 2nd world war. On the 70th annerversary of The Blitz, the club put up a plaque to remember those lost on the site of where the stadium now stands.
  22. Would be really disappointing if the club just ignored this
  23. IF we go up and Leicester don't, I really think we need to slap a big fee down for Kasper Schmeichal. He is the exact type of player we'd need. Young, talented and a good head on his shoulders. I know they wont want to sell but if we unsettle him and he wants Prem football, we'll get him.
  24. Saw this trending on Twitter last night. Such a shame and very sad. RIP (I don't think AFC Saints in Staffordshire have anyhing to do with Southampton FC)
  25. The reason I will always respect Henry. He could have gone down, won a penalty and we would have been down to 10 men within 30 seconds. He stayed on his feet to get his shot away and Niemi made a great save.
