I don't know what to think about all this. Part of me thinks that it's all agent talk and they are now just pushing for a new contract for him. The other part thinks theres no smoke without fire and we wouldn't continue our interest if we had no chance. The Jos and Adkins factor may play a vital role.

So we can add him to the list of players we nearly got including Drogba, Adebayor, Rosicky, Mido etc. Although to be fair, we got a lot closer to those players as they got into negotiations. Sounds like Ibrahimovic had no interest in coming here.

Mines a Liverpool fan due to a family connection with a Liverpool legend, but I think she could name more Saints players than Liverpool. It helps of course that shes with me and that she often works for the Saints Founation. She would get Cork, Fox, Davis, Martin and Seaborne as shes worked with them. She'd also get Fonte as she knows his new wife. That would be it I think. She does get confused with the rules sometimes.

Indeed. I'm a STH and do a 310 mile round trip for home games and i know a couple more down here that do the same.

I think it's more likely Barnard will be off. Then we'll have Lambert, Connolly, Lee and New Striker. Sounds just right to me. Especially with Connollys injury record.

I would say Kasper Schmeichel was head and shoulders their best player. Without him, we would have won.

Pretty sure the OP is asking which chant is it we sing "we are Southampton, we're top of the league" or "we are Southampton, we're taking the ****" The answer being, we sing them both. Sometimes at the same time which can be confussing.

Well if its the same guy (and it sounds like it) he didn't do anything. We were quite close to the home fans in the main stand so there was normal banter exchanged but nothing at all along the lines of "**** off you queer ****". I did hear stuff like this, as well as the normal boring chants. And a new one to me "Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" chants. But not by him. So getting arrested for this? Yes, it's PC gone mad. As for the random racist example you use, of course it's not. Racism is actually against ground regulations for a start.
