  1. You his wholesaler I assume with the ITK statement... I Trade Knobs Tokes in supplying The Bear shocker
  2. Japan WC 2002. Fly in to Narita with mate overnight from Dubai. Hotel room not ready until 2pm. Kick around town, mate refuses to eat anything except McD's or KFC (he likes football doesn't do travelling) Eventually check into hotel room where my feet are resting on the TV cupboard as the bed is so short. He takes trip to crapper. Entire Bathroom is tiny & like a Plastic Moulded insert into the room. The Big Mac emerges with suitable sound effects and expressions of pain. Then Bump,, ouch, Ah, Whir ARRRRGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH Door flies open violently ripping it from hinges and the whole plastic thing tilts. Mate with shreddies around ankles ARRRGHH (from me) FFS mate what's up? I pulled the chain to ease the smell halfway through and this thing sprayed my arse. ROFLS from me and call to maintenance to mend the bathroom. Think he went the whole 10 days without having another dump
  3. This thread needs Toke's & his experiences with those Japanese crappers that wash & blow dry your bum
  4. I felt that this issue spanned the entire political spectrum. I was extremely concerned that if I had put it in The Lounge then it would have descended into an argument about the state of the crappers at Unite HQ or whether Ed's Balls would get bitten by the snake first of whether the snake would have more sense
  5. http://news.uk.msn.com/trending-blog/five-films-to-follow-sharknado Gotta have some of our own ideas. Pompetheus? Where giant skates lay eggs in the Calor Gas Bottling plant and burst out & attack Pikeys in their Caravans?
  6. Yeah that makes sense. But what if you have 3 targets? You move on and the first target then comes back and says OK? And is 20% better than your 3rd target? This is clearly a game/negotiation. It is also completely normal. Any single poster on here received interest in their services as an employee from 3 different companies WE would want to explore every detail every piece of fine print and would no doubt have one we felt would be the best fit for us. We would also try and make sure that the best fit gave us the best deal as well.
  7. http://news.uk.msn.com/trending-blog/mans-horror-as-he-is-bitten-on-the-penis-by-a-snake-hiding-in-the-toilet Yikes. What are your memories of things in Bowls? I had a summer job during school time as a cleaner at an Army base. We had to clean the bogs. We found a long brown snake that stretched from the bowl to touch the seat edge..... Over to you note I only started this thread as I couldn't do the new Octoporn food thread from Japan while at work
  8. They messed around with his run up in NZ trying to cure that - put him on a short run up. They talked about his rhythm not being right. It is possible that he is shot and needs to play 4 day cricket for a few weeks then fair enough but if they think he is OK then he has to play
  9. I'd wait to see what sort of wicket appears from under the covers on Thursday. In reality Bresnan would have been better suited to the dead pitch at Trent Bridge, when he bangs the ball in he can be a threat (which would NOT have been the case at TB) BUT can be a stock bowler who can tie an end up which is what England desperately needed. Finn is far better on a more responsive track, over the years Lords has seemed to change nature much more dramatically than TB, with periods of docility through to spit spite and uneven bounce. IF it is forecast to stay hot and sunny & clear skies all weekend then they have to pick Finn. IF there is cloud cover around, Lords will swing much more and Bresnan will be dangerous AND COULD keep one end tied up when it goes dead. HOWEVER, Bresnan was very poor on the Dead pitches over here against Pakistan. Still Finn for me for Lords OT & Durham. I still worry about Bairstow at number 6 though more than Finn/Bresnan
  10. A significant number of Saints fans based in the North of England were able to buy their tickets from Carlisle. A number of threads appeared on here at the time and people needed only to provide their Post Codes when they went on general sale. Meanwhile skates @Wembley. How did the ticket sales for their last fraudulent appearance pan out?
  11. Bring in Anderweireld & use Jose as makeweight for Stoch, the latter has been mentioned by someone else on here
  12. One other point GS - was looking at Cuba some time ago and September & Hurricane season came to the fore after a mate got stuck there for two weeks after the place was hit. Research
  13. Just want to upgrade Defiance to enjoyable Telly from not sure about it. It ain't Firefly (let alone Star Trek) but is a helluva lot better than the Cooking/Soap Channels!
  14. Vietnam mate. Qatar & Emirates fly in, cheap as chips when you got out the hotels and STUNNING scenery. Cities are crazy & pollution gets up your nose but Sapa/Bac Ha/Lao Cai, Phong Ngha National Park & Caves, Hoi An/Danang beaches wowsa, dunno how it fits to a UK budget though but will be the end of the rainy season so heavy showers in afternoon for a bit but able to get better prices. Just IF flying in Sept check you don't clash with Eid Holidays which pushes the flight cost up
  15. Ooh I told a lie. I did of course have 3 nights out in Southampton. The first one was in the car park at The Dell starting at HT against Hull (if I recall) before running out to spend a cultural night playing 3 card Brag in the Car Park waiting for the Ticket Office to open to sell the Cup Final Tickets. The lads next to us swapped their copy of Playboy for a cup of coffee at 3am so I suppose you could say I nearly pulled........
  16. What's wrong with teh Nightlife in Reading? At least I once pulled in that town, which is a huge step up from Southampton. Mind you I've only ever had two nights out in Southampton. And that night in Reading feels like it must have been back in the 30's
  17. Thanks for posting that FF. I know many on here give him stick, but I also think that as Saints fans we owe TT a huge vote of thanks for the efforts he made to make us aware of Ron's situation in later life and for the many miles he travelled back and forth to meet the Great Man. Thanks for the Memories Ron, and from me at least, thanks Tim for at least trying to help him when so many of us could not.
  18. Well that's pretty obvious. He turned 18 and so the lads obviously just allowed him to watch his first ever Porn movie. Debbie does Bearsy no doubt
  19. Big shout out to Alps for ensuring the result went the right way. Oh - clear edge, clear sound. Will the media give Haddin sh1t for not walking? (And how come Sky taters didn't hear that when we could?) Bloody great Test Match, how the hell are we gonna survive 9 more of these, let alone the players. Jimmy Anderson - Man of Steel, awesome effort today
  20. I have nothing but praise for Lennon over the way he has handled this. His positive comments in the press about us and of COURSE he & Celtic have played a massive role in getting VW into the EPL. Lennon clearly accepts the fact that Celtic are a no mark Selling Club these days and says things the right way. Now compare his public utterances with other (former) PL managers for example
  21. The line at 22 seconds sums this up perfectly.. Christ, if the Sci Fi channel can make movies with such garbage ideas and stories lines, I gotta email The Golf Channel pdq. Reckon I could get an Oscar Nomination at least for Tiger, The Bullfrog Story edit Love the first comment
  22. Think this worries me more than anything about this thread. A poster OTHER than Turks knows what shoes they are wearing.
  23. I assume Martin Samuels at the fail has a comparable two page rant about the Captain of Australia not walking for an obvious caught behind. Oh Delicately balanced Test now but really need an early wicket tomorrow to avoid the jitters. About time the REAL Graham Swann turned up, if not give Root the ball again
  24. Point is though, that in some games, Puncheon & Lallana were awful, and it would be hard to see where JWP actually had a major influence on a game as opposed to doing a good job. I would be very concerned going into a new season with them as first choice, simply on POTENTIAL. IF they do develop or have a better more consistent season then other players will not get in the team, has always been that way. One bad game is something that happens to every player, but having SDR on the bench to replace Puncheon/Lallana or having Lallana on the bench to replace Gaston/Cork? No brainer Anyway, at home we MAY choose to only play with one DM and push Cork & Morgan higher up the pitch to press higher and force a team trying to sit back to change their tactics. It ain't Mike Bassett land anymore We lost EIGHT out of the first TEN games when Cork was injured we were also incredibly lucky Morgan did not pick up a ban.
  25. Ah well it was his job yesterday thanks to the Umpires calls on Root & Troot then we get into the where is Joe Root better suited for the balance of the team? Would we prefer him or Bairstow at #6? IMHO Bairstow isn't quite ready for this level of Test cricket yet (bit like Bell in his 1st Ashes series) flaky 20's and 30's instead of calmness & averaging 35 to 40. Which then begs the question who should open with Cook and did we drop Compton too early? hmm tough one based on the NZ series but then very few of our batsmen played well in that Would Bresnan have let Agar score 30+ runs in 4 overs to get off to a flier as Finn did..... Will they drop Finn on his performance on a Dead pitch that possibly better suited Bresnan and put Bresnan in on a pitch that will likely better suit Finn at Lords... Will worry about that later, but surely a much better area for debate than an old chestnut
