That'll become a Holiday Inn or similar. From when we moved in. the land around that is too "contaminated" on that part of the old Gas site to allow full time residential but a hotel would be permitted. All it needs is an offer the owners of the Industrial estate cannot refuse and the gravel pit going. Then it needs someone with a LOT of capital available and the redevelopment and housing will make a lot of profit. The Stadium expansion is as much "PR" for the Council as anything to get them to push through the big bucks land deal. Now the profits and bonus on a deal of that size would be far more than taking a football club from L1 to PL safety. All IMHO says the cynic in me of course

How come our PR manager decided to sack Adkins?

Oi! Only just thawed out and got my voice back from Saturday. And yes, we are seeing a rise in numbers. Up to 18 at the Pub for games now.

Ooh you may get the new train if you're lucky! You walk miles to the train, then it drops you miles from the Lifts Then you walk miles to your gate through a Shopping Mall that is so cramped you have to carry your wheelie bag.

The meeting I saw was at 18:15 on 27th January. QPR, Swansea Reading & Norwich all came to the UAE on or around 10th Feb. HTH

That's rubbish. Wonderlands must have Winter in there somewhere or it doesn't sing right. Anyways the rebrand should be tTiB (the Tiger is Back) -
Duh no. You must be Dead if you haven't seen the evil Queen/Mayor in her black leather outfit and thought hmmm????...... Or of course just Jennifer Morrison...... And then there was Red Riding Hood's legs............

I was playing in the Marshalls Golf Day at Abu Dhabi GC in January. After the event we had a buffet & prize giving on the Clubhouse terrace. Our section was roped off but an area was kept clear for normal people to use. I saw a well dressed man stand up and greet a visitor in the normal people section. I did not think anything of it at the time except that it looked like someone going for a Job Interview by the way he was dressed and his Body Language. I was struck at the time the movements and mannerisms reminded me on NA. But of course, being a golf club in Abu Dhabi apart from the bearing, hair & the glasses and a side view I convinced myself no way it could be NA. The man who met him was wearing a Golf Shirt, was shorter and had tidy close cropped grey hair. Again I thought nothing of it. That EVENING when I got home there was a thread about NA to Huddersfield where an Udder tweeted that he had met NA & his wife in a bar in Dubai and that they were on vacation here. Another mate told me he had met a football manager in Trader Vics the night before "who was taking an extended vacation" It subsequently dawned on me that I was a complete cock & that IF I had taken a photo of NA & this guy I could have sold the picture. As such the next day I googled for images of football club Chairmen. First up I saw the guy was not the Udders boss. Then I looked up other possibilities and was horrified when I found a picture of the guy. IF I had taken the photo I could have probably paid for the cost of my wedding. Adkins met Randy Lerner. Shortly afterwards Villa started to pick up points. No, I did not go up to them, no I did not take a picture and yes of course I may be mistaken, but too many co-incidences came together at the same time The story involved Golf so my apologies to Tokes.

Not according to the earlobes I saw him talking to. But then what do I know? I'm 3,500 miles and a short train ride from Reading

I know exactly what you mean. Ages ago I took a mate from a village to Lahore to watch England in a Test Match. He simply could not comprehend the sights he saw - the totally alien battle for survival every day for so many poor people. Youngest just came back from a week in India. Similar wtf moment in life for him. Wish the series was on over here.

Anyone else enjoying Once Upon a Time S2? Just an insane concept but the way they keep twisting & adding characters at random continues to make me wonder wtf they smoke in their script writing sessions.

Nige has not been inactive. I am ITK in that respect by complete random accident. But if I told you how Tokyo would set Milton on me and send me to visit Bearsy.

Dear #factless. The ONLY reason you have not sacked a Manager since 2009 is that every single one you have appointed since then has run away screaming aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Swiftly followed by "They were the bestest but thank fook I escaped" Thanks to my mate the hacker I can officially reveal that the TV Series Colditz is THE number one downloaded file on the Manager's PC at nottarf

I was sporting a nice Attack the Block innit trendy urban hat with a tassle on the top and wonderful warm earflaps. It was a sexy shade of Black White Red & Grey. Turks is even now turning this into his official "IN" game wear range. It was just like the nutty firework nipper in Attach the Block -

It was so good it should be sung again. Fat Rickie Lambert, you're just a FAT Rickie Lambert............ Turning point of the season for me. Whenever we sing something like that it comes back to haunt us, then true to form of the last few weeks a ridiculous penalty and we all know he's gonna ram those words down our throats.... And then came The Boruc. -
Perfect job for the maniac DiCanio. They will go down but he has stepped up a level so is good for his cv. The ONLY thing a manager can bring now is motivation. Paulo is madder than a Boruc so makes sense Stupid job for NA. Better will become available - Villa IF they go down for eg

No, but after two curries in two days, I had a lovely movement that was about the size of a pillar this morning -
Co-incidentally, Olwyn, (Who is strangely Welsh with a name like that) is in to his Karaoke in a big way. He's all Bon Jovi, Metallica & Tom Jones. Anyways he has something to do with some weird global karaoke superstar web site (which I think is the work of too many Absinthe shots when he was younger) and which I have never been able to find of course. But anyway, on that web site and every time I am too p1ssed to know better on a Friday night at Rock Bottom I do revert to my Stage Name... Which REALLY scarily (how the fook did Tokes know?) Reebok ads on this all the time. Also back last year when the F1 was in Scabi Dhabi they had a whole cross fit challenge featuring Lewis Hamilton. He got beat. No no no not by me duh. But by one of our own Dubai Saints massive. She & her buddies take it all WELL seriously. I am allowed to officially say she is very fit. And no, she's one of our family now so you ain't getting a rule 1

Jesus. So that's what happened to Bearsy. That Milts is one seriously serious serial killer. I feel a movie comong on. The Silence of the Bears. Been a long time since I last watched Blythe Spirit. Anyone remember how long the Spirit lasts in limbo before passing on?
