  1. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/londonspy/olympic-officials-miss-world-record-holder-hammer-throw-213703159.html Oops How embarrassing. All the officials missed the World Record Holder's throw in the Hammer final last night
  2. What a shame he got rid of a bunch of them last season.
  3. So say we all. When the final footnotes of this sad and sorry saga are written, that post should be (spellchecked ), then printed and framed into a sticky for all future generations of Saints Fans to read and understand . This thread is not just about us "having a pop" it has been about our outrage at their cheating
  4. Ed McKeever Gold in Canoe sprint And everyone else was having a lie-in today!
  5. Apparently they searched the house 3 times before finding anything. Just seems strange that's all.
  6. Yeah, it's all our fault
  7. Very strange, very sad and, let's face it, very odd that a body is found a week later.... Understand the Just Cause line, but really, having seen the house on Sky News..........................
  8. Hahaha you just reminded me of ANOTHER immortal line in Iron Sky......... Look at this one, her hair is like The Fuhrer's Moustache..........
  9. Had a night off Olympics tonight to watch a movie, but Well done to the lad
  10. Think at heart all grown ups yearn to be kids again. That is why we are loving this saga. Let's face it, one of the best party games when we were saintandy's age was - Pass The Parcel. The reason we're all so attracted to this is we see the same game different name. Pass the Debt
  11. Oh boy. I saw the web site for it about 18 months ago and how they were trying to raise funds. At the time it seemed the silliest idea I had seen in ages and just tickled me. The 4th Reich. Evacuated Earth in 1945 and built a base on the Dark side of the Moon. Well, on my trip to Bangkok 2 weeks ago I found a copy on a dodgy DVD (it sure as hell ain't hit any cinema down here) Watched it tonight.......... It truly is stupid. It truly is a Cult movie. It truly is up there with SuperBad and Scott Pilgrim in the "Either you get it or you don't" field of quality stupid funny movies. Classic lines The Hitler Downfall remake - What a ROFL moment - hell I so have to learn how to do that type the words subtitles when the fit chick does the Those of you who aren't in (gonna have to try that line with my employees.. You're not intelligent enough to be f****g Morons) The "I can't believe he fell for the One Last Blow Job" line Yes we can....... Sarah Palin as President OK, who DIDN'T arm their Spaceships? Finland? Well should have known.... There are Women and Children down there.... We don't negotiate with Terrorists, Nuke them What? did you all pay for tickets? You all gave me your word! President of the United States: We're American, we always break ours. That's just what we do. The movie is totally non PC from about the 5th minute. Black Guy being turned white by Nazi's who become the scriptwriters to get Sarah Palin (almost) re-elected. Stupid stupid stupid and I am still laughing at it The Dodgy DVD just joined my Blazing Saddles, Airplane, Hot Shots ROFL collection. Yeah sure, it has huge gaps between the really good jokes but...... Gang - leave the intellect at home and go and laugh at bad taste
  12. My review on What are you watching For you SciFi fans.... Airplane In Space With Nazis It won't ever be a Box Office smash but you HAVE to have it in your DVD collection IF you like EITHER Sci FI or Airplane movies
  13. You guys that loved the bmx really should check out Red Bull X Fighters. OK not the same in terms of MotoCross racing (whatever happened to that) but X games in general are awesome to watch live
  14. None at all This thread doesn't do Conclusions. That's why it's called a Saga....... It goes on and on and on
  15. Just FYI how it actually works for us overseas types (Just in case the Canoeing Sprints are a bit Dull for everyone at the moment) http://www.obs.es/hostbroadcasterrole.html http://www.obs.es/obslondon2012.html Have to say they have done a pretty good job. Some of their taters (esp the football) have been on the zzzzzzzzz side of dull, but even the Aussie at the Cycling was giving The Brits the big emotion. But the guy working on the Field Events with Stuart Storey (sp??) is absolutely superb - really knows the technical details of every event and shows us when someone drops a shoulder one millisecond too soon etc Guess the only "cracking up" bit we seem to have missed over (as seen in the Telegraph) here was Steve Cram as Mo crossed the line in the 10k
  16. Apologies but that really needed to be corrected
  17. Out of interest, where's Truckie these past days? It's getting close to the time for him to pay out on his Sweepstake. God Bless Missing Posters
  18. Yeah I saw it hence the comment. So if US Journos are whining that means they are listening to the Beeb 'taters. One has to ask WHY? Shouldn't they be in the stadiums? Or they sitting in the pub spending expenses and watching on telly
  19. I find this debate about the Beeb being less "Patriotic" to be a real ROFL. Sometimes you can argue that their coverage is being shown WordWide and they should be more "neutral" in the way footie 'taters (sometimes) are. But for this Olympics they don't NEED to. There is the OBS. They are supplying the images and providing feed to the rest of the world. They also have their own team of "English Language" Commentators. So down here, while we do have Stuart Storie (sp?) on our Athletics feed we are getting Aussies/Kiwis/Brits/Americans/and hell even someone in the Boxing halls with the strongest Russian Accent I have heard. The Beeb are broadcasting to the UK. It's OK, you CAN be happy when a Brit wins, stop with the "out of date" Guilt complex. Jeez in the Equestrian from OBS we've had two of the greatest lines I've ever heard - OMG we've won Gold, followed by blub blub blub and then yesterday, I'm sorry, we're going to take our Cams off and stand up, Sing the Anthem and cry, we'll be back in a few moments.... Down the pub last night people were still talking about that line and saying how it made them well up with tears... (And not ONE of them were a Brit)
  20. OK in the "we all know what's going to happen next" world. PST have "conned" PCC into making a Political PR decision to lend them money to buy the club/stadium. PCC have been perfectly supplied with all the ammunition they needed to be able to approve the plan. The Trust can now go back to TB and make their bid. CHinny will of course say "Yes, you can have the club, I'll keep the Stadium and you pay rent" (as we posted here and PST fully believe as well) PST will then agree and realise........ Their financial plan is around 1.45mil short...... Which means they will have no choice but to go back to PCC and say - you know that loan secured on NottArf..... Wellllllllll, we still need the cash and you cannot have the security. UNLESS you give us the loan, pcfc will go bust. You have already nailed your colours to the mast, you have already said how valuable you are, you all agreed to save us, now you CANNOT change your minds... Or words to that effect.
  21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2186370/James-Bond-Daniel-Craig-stands-sizzling-B-r-nice-Marlohe-Skyfall-poster.html Bond vs Reacher this autumn. Well, IF the idiot Producers had read Lee Child's books and cast the role properly it should have been no contest. Let's hope Skyfall builds on Quantum of Solace and delivers a perfect Bond rather than the almost oh damn not quite.
  22. Awesome... As said earlier by a tater Strictly Come Dancing with GBH
  23. Gotta love Democracy.
  24. Wow - just wow. Manteo Mitchell US 4x400m runner finished his leg of the race DESPITE breaking his leg after 200m..... US qualified for the final as a result - here is his interview. Three days ago I was going up the stairs and I kind of missed one and landed awkwardly. I got treatment and I was fine. I did workouts, and when I warmed up today I felt really well. I felt I could go 44 (seconds)-low. I got out pretty slow, but I picked it up and when I got to the 100m mark it felt weird. I was thinking I just didn't feel right. As soon as I took the first step past the 200m mark, I felt it break. I heard it. I even put out a little war cry, but the crowd was so loud you couldn't hear it. I wanted to just lie down. It felt like somebody literally just snapped my leg in half. I knew if I finished strong we could still get it (the baton) around. I saw Josh Mance motioning me in for me to hand it off to him, which lifted me. I didn't want to let those three guys down, or the team down, so I just ran on it. It hurt so bad. I'm pretty amazed that I still split 45 seconds on a broken leg. Dear highly paid footballers. Take note
  25. Oh Trousers.... SURELY you didn't miss that trick........... Jeez that was so blindingly obvious it never even warranted commenting on
