No, this cannot be right. Not our NC. After all, so many posters were telling us how "NC did the decent thing" and showed "integrity" by voluntarily paying Rangers 800k for a player (Davis) who could just have just walked out.

The "wealthy" can afford to pay for legal avoidance schemes and can pay for lobbyists to get the rules enacted. My Mum tries to save a few quid a month from her pension by paying someone cash to mow her lawn and that is "Immoral" and as a result of her "Immoral acts" society in general is broke. I'll shut up now or I will go off on one

We do that every day. OK from someone who once had 500k airmiles with TWO airlines... Airports destroy your soul, especially Stansted & Luton, simply because you will be used to the process and everyone else will be a delay. They are getting rid of Iris (which was a GODSEND) and the Auto readers don't always work The company will put you on the cheapest flight so you will never earn enough miles or tier points to get Lounge access. Without Lounge access flying for a living can be hell. Without the tier points status you will eventually be bumped off a flight that is a nightmare. THEN it all comes down to you, what sort of person you are. IF you are a micro time manager (or your job demands it) then why bother to fly anywhere? IF you are the type that can find an hour in the evening to get out the hotel and look around then you learn, you see places and you will learn. Your GF will not be impressed until you have a trip that lets you fly out on a Friday evening and take her with you. Your job may not be wonderful BUT in the future you could be after a job and up against a candidate who doesn't have International experience. I flew everywhere almost every week for about 13 years. The family benefited IMMENSELY from the airmiles I saved & the places I could take them. The only rule? IF they expect you to fly RyanAir every trip? Forget it. They are great for vacations & obscure locations or cheap trips but every week?/? No way

But that would still be better (for the next 3 or 4 years) than if PST take them over. Win Win Win scenario all round for nutjobs. Unless? Surely somebody who may have allegedly once worked for HSBC USA has a lightbulb moment... Surprised the PST haven't tried that line - proven track record in Launderette management... As someone posted earlier, how come they could afford to wash their kit between games in Gib?

But surely as a dyed in the whatever Capitalist, you should be buying at least 10 ST's so that you can make a fortune selling them off to the Prawn Sandwich eaters when the big day arrives next season?

They're signing Svennson now?

Find a place during Ramadan, hmm tough one. We might have to go to a Pub. Will be great to see you give us a PM (pubs open at 8pm btw & Ravi's will be open for Iftar from 7pm)

Lol they sound about the same standard as us lot at the first forum match at SMS. Lads who'd paid up to play the full 90 started to keel over after about 65 (where's Hammy these days) and we were wheeling the first half lads back out onto the pitch to keep the numbers up!
-
Boooooooooo Poyet OUT. How they going to get to double figures in the remaining 23 minutes?
-
Is it half time yet?
-
Nope not made it here yet. Is it worth keeping an eye open for? Our "Season" on telly will probably start as the Schools go back in early September, so was a surprise to find a "Hit" show kicking off over here in Ramadan when anyone with a brain has got away from the 44C heat

We're not going to be getting a place in L1 this season so we're gonna make DAMN sure there is no time for any one else to take our place. Yah Boo Sucks Up Yours FL

Oh cut out the krap D_P. It rocked. It was bound to, it's Tim Kring (Heroes) Will be an interesting journey

Well, they'd been plugging it on the telly for a month or so now. Nothing in the clips gave ANY clue as to what it was about, what genre or even when. About the ONLY thing I could glean from the ads was that Jack Bauer was in it..... Well, of course I missed the first episode, hadn't even crossed my mind. Until I went into my OSN + bit and saw that Episode 1 was on there. Meh just time to watch that over dinner before FMDP heads out to work the Ramadan evening shift... What is it? She asks. Well, I have no idea, but I guess it's kinda got to be something decent if Kiefer "gave up" 24 for it. Well, it has an interesting opening monolgue, some stuff about a lost mobile phone and sort of wobbles around for the first 15 or 20 minutes. You start to wonder is it some form of family drama? Post 9/11 traumatised modern family, but it stays interesting as we hop all over the place... nd then Danny Glover pops up And then the final 10 minutes or so pulls it all together and you end with... Oh yes THIS is going to work, head to FB and put a massive LIKE on it and programme the OSN+ box to make sure we don't miss another episode. Touch. Probably going to be on Sky Atlantic. It shows REAL promise

Well, I did have a Mole Wonder if Rupes is spinning in his grave or having a fry up at the news

Back on the theme of people with credibility who could have become owners of a football cluband run it professionally... Look what has become of a blast from our past... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/9422639/Libor-scandal-Anthony-Salz-to-lead-Barclays-review.html Anthony Salz to lead the Libor rigging review Oh the alleged irony

Just a point to note while "The Syrian People" want Bashar gone, they are actually FAR more worried about what comes next. Syria was a truly Secular Country (hell you could even find the best Topless Bar in the Middle East over there). What it has never been is an Islamic State. Think of the balance within Turkey where both sides co-exist and understand each other. What the Syrians are worried about is that the rebels are primarily Islamic backed - a Jihad if you like and that the country will "slide" slowly into a more Islamic Nation - and to be honest those concerns have been played out so far in Libya & Egypt. The picture is never QUITE as clear as the stories you hear see and read. The FACT of the insanity of Bashar (and his father some 40+ odd years ago) is very real. I for one hope they get the new Syria to be what it was but without "The State" sitting over them. It was without a doubt one of the most interesting countries (from a Strewth you have all this history here) I have visited. And boy some of those Syrian Chicks were cute What I fear is a series of Islamic Factions and local "War Lords" based on tribal links putting together a patch-work "oh yeah look it's democratic now" and end up being as biased against parts of the Population as Bashar was against those that did not toe the party line

FFS stay off the cheese Colin

Probably more to do with making sure that they (Leeds) get "unencumbered title"to the goods Leeds may have known Derby were still owed money so the headline 300k figure was worth paying knowing there could be no attempt by Derby to "repossess" him
-
At 2 grand an hour no doubt
-
Possible but unlikely. Syria has always been a system "modelled" on a form of collective "communism" - ie where being in the "party" is all important. The weapons will be old Soviet era technology and will be far more likely to have come from IRAN not Iraq. It is not good up there at the moment, very worried for a lot of friends, not just because of Bashar but also for what comes next.

I miss Master Bates and his pm's

Oh BTW while looking for a Reality Poster I came across this. Then I decided it was worth wiping off and posting simply because. Well, you know what I mean

Think the few found this in their inboxes when they woke up this morning
