I think more than the PFA will be watching. UEFA & FIFA and not to mention the EU Courts (after all it was the Bosman ruling that changed a great deal
-
Well, at least (if we did not have a swear filter) we know what to put on our wreath when we lay it in memory of them ..... TEN F**CK**G PEOPLE
-
So what have we learnt today? 400 fans turn up in Gibraltar to roar their heroes to a narrow defeat. And when asked to drive 20 miles down the road to save their club... 10 of them turn up No wonder Birch isn't wasting his mobile phone bills on calling the players
-
Oh yeah that's been tweeted & FB'd Another PTS Legend award winning effort there from Guan2.0 That makes him an official nutjob..

No no no. Media Management Page 101. "See I TRIED to help"

Think that the end game has been in place now ever since that FL decision scuppered CHinny. Sure the Trust can try..... But - and let's get real here, forget TB for a moment, he works for PKF who are a "Global" "Compliant" organisation. He knows his legal obligation is to get as much as he can for the CREDITORS. He knows that nottarf is worth the square root of fark all with the Trust in tenancy with a laughable excuse for a football club. The ONLY value now is to sell the land for development. The BARRIER in his way is - "The Council". He needs to get that caveat overturned. HE knows there is no hope, the PLAYERS know there is no hope. It's pretty clear with Bob Beech popping up everywhere that HE knows there is no hope. They're already dead, it's now about the planning permission and the immortal words.. Look we REALLY tried

All Saints fans should protest about this disgusting slur
dubai_phil replied to patred44's topic in The Saints
Yeah, you are right of course. Let me just pull up all the messages of support I received from their fans when we were in trouble. Oh that's strange, there seems to be absolutely none -
Yes Trousers - this is so TOTALLY the POINT. How do they NOT understand. Players hold out, Club Liquidated. PP's revert to League, League pay football creditors. They get paid. They leave, club survives, Chinny gets his hands on the PP's by way of the rent or similar he will charge to the new pompey. Vincent - they hold out they get paid. It just won't be paid by pcfc.

Can't you forward that to Hants Constabulary or something? -
Crabby. You do miss one point in your "support" of the phew. Which is that the club broke the hearts of thir REAL supporters some years ago. Many of them DID hold their heads in shame, MANY of them did stop going, stopped buying Merchandise and to all effect "Boycotted" the club. They understood that with the Loan Shark sucking them dry there was no hope, THEY understood the 18mil Chinny charge - it was simply Sacha passing what he owed Chinny and dumping/conning him. They know that the ONLY thing keeping them alive is Chinny's HOPE he can get that cash back (no not loaned to the club, owed by Sacha - see pages 50-500 Israel & Courts corpy) They more than anyone are embarrassed by the Trust and the morons rallying to CHinny's side to help him suck the last blood out of their club. Because, let's face it, the PST (good effort lads) will ONLY be allowed to run the club until CHinny has his cash, after that the husk will be gone. They should not be "bullying" the players in SO postcode (perhaps PTS should send a team of Security guards up there to protect the poor innocent players?) They should be landing in Hong Kong and going after Chinny. But then the ones with real brains gave up, want the disgrace to end and want a club they can be proud of to start again - thing is - they wanted it 3 years ago.
-
We did. HTH (OK so it was in questioning sporting integrity in comparison to you lot but we did) I feel sorry for corpy, He probably feels llike some poor drunk tourist to Bangkok who gets home with a chick to find out it's a ladyboy. Let's face it, he shot his load over Ice Cream salesmen, Imaginary Arabs & Storrieteller, not to mention CSI, anyone fancy a whip round to get him counselling? No, thought not
-
And THAT is the whole point. "The owner" (Sacha) DIDN'T put any money in. He simply saddled the club with LOANS from STANDARD BANK FFS that is why they got relegated and into trouble in the FIRST place The SIMPLE missed point is that the Liebherr family have converted ALL their investment to date into Share Capital NOT bank loans. The ONLY thing they can do now to impact on our performance is to fire their elected Directors - NC, Unlike the skates they CAN'T ask for their cash back Economics for Dummies page 1 MORON
-
Damn thought that you were offering. Soi 9 Fish Market alone all at the weekend again then (No and before anyone asks - work first then checking to see if they are making fake kits again now we are back in the big league
-
Ah bless I love fairy tales. But don't they need happy endings? Ah of course, poopey know who to call for advice on those
-
Look, it's the PL. Apart from the scousers with Carroll up front, nobody plays hoofball, it's all about flexible 4-3-3 to 4-5-1 type formations and pace up front. Seabourne does have pace, he's been pretty awful when up against hoofball big CB's. What he did NOT have was maturity to use his brain. Now it MAY be that his "episode" has brought on that maturity and that is what NA & the team see. Fonte & Jos together will get mullered by Citeh and the other top strikers. But Jos showed many times last year he reads a game well. IMHO the missing link is a Right Footed CB with a brain and pace. Then Fonte becomes cover and we will manage
-
Sorry but that has to go onto FB
-
That's all very well, but how do you feel about them?
-
As so many PoL's read this thread for news and advice, can I be the first in the current meltdown to try and offer some help. http://www.negotiationinstitute.com/column/empathy-critical-skill-use-negotiations You will see here that Empathy is a VERY valuable tool to use during DIFFICULT negotiations. Again, just offering a bit of advice, this region has tended to show that pointing a gun at someone who has no hope and THEN trying to negotiate tends to bring out a fark you reaction. So, from the PTS perspective - YEAH keep up the stream of abuse morons. from the I have "they'll get away with it in the sweepstake perspective - fly back from your free vacation, pull up a chair, pour a few cups of tea and understand the position of the players. It is SO simple to get a deal. Stop talking with your d1cks and use a brain cell
-
Yep, you got that right. They won't be taking part in it this year. Or for the next 5 years at least
-
I think it could also be Davis's year. KD's chance to show what could have been
-
I'd disagree with that. IMHO everything about our club at the moment would say you are holding a "Dinosaur" opinion..... ie. It is only about success. We are going to be playing in the CL. To get there we will take small steps along a (yeah yeah probably 10 year plan). So the measures of success next year are obviously - Stay Up, but equally important IMHO Improve and create a base to build on - that base will be talent and team spirit. NC will understand KPI's & NA has used that phrase in the past. IF Nige retains the dressing room and we stay up that is the platform - the question IF we can stay up will be Are we moving in line with the plan, NOT about whether we finish as well as Norwich or Swansea. (Hell IF we did as well we'd lose NA anyway to a "Bigger" club NC & the back room staff know what is needed
-
Totally agree. Anything less than automatic CL qualification and NA will be out the door.

Sweet. Ernie probably did more to keep me golfing than anyone else. One year here I saw him with a perfect lie in the middle of the fairway hot a 3 wood 50 feet, and same year 3 putt from 4 feet. If he can do it why should us hackers get so wound up. (He still came second that year) (Oh and nice to hear David Cannon getting a bunch of mentions on the TV this year. He is a fantastic guy and he has made himself the best in the world at what he does having packed in a job oop north in a factory to risk it all as a freelance photographer.
-
Because Els, Scott, Woods & Snedecker all finished ahead of him GMac finished on -2 alongside Luke http://scores.theopen.com/en/Leaderboard.aspx#t_leaderboard I loved this year's Open, so many of the leaders had moments that looked like my golf today - especially Gmacs 80 yard hoick into the trees with a 3 wood

Not into cycling, but that was an Outstanding Performance. Truly outstanding
