http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2366512,00.html Like it says - details the problems he had with his groin, what he did to cure it and why he is confident for the new season ahead. Also states (again) what a mess pre-season was last year in terms of injuring the players

36DD's may be great when you're young, but if you're thinking of a really long term relationship you really don't want to be looking at something hanging around the waistline when you're 50 + The perfect boob size? The ones you've got your grubby mitts on

David Coleman has to feature in many of those. David Hemery probably the one I really remember How Coleman didn't do a Spitting Image & explode during that commentary http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRoYE39KdT4 Wow lol at the empty stadium bet they didn't have to pay a year in advance! Coe & Ovett must be in there somewhere And also don't forget in some very lean years for British Golf Sandy Lyle - the first British winner of The US Masters

Time to ban them from the next WC -
And Bin Hammam drops out the voting race today. Oh wow now there is a surprise. Watch the whole thing go away and Blatter endorse BH as his successor in 4 years or whatever

Rich Tea are perfect but leave a horrid gooey mess at the bottom of the cup. So it has to be Chocolate Chip Cookies OR Walkers Shortbread with a slice of Extra Mature Vintage Cheddar on top. Oh & Digestives? use those instead of a finger. It's where they belong

And What is it about American Hotels? they give you a proper filter coffee machine and coffee bags that make possibly the worst coffee EVER

There is one piece of the (I wonder where he found it) Business plan left to come, Our Academy scouts the best players in their age range in "The UK" To become a Barca we need to look further afield. We need to have tie-ups with a network of "Kid Scouting" worldwide. We need to send our best technical players who don't have the pace for English football to other countries and bring THEIR best kids suited to the English Leagues (and eventually Eurpoan Football) to our Academy. When I see him do that, spread our net wider then I will know we could become Barca. But to imagine for one minute that we could find 11 kids in England that could do what Barca do.... LMFAO - we've been looking as a NATION since 1966!

Don't think it will matter what the Ethics committee does TBH, FIFA lives on their sponsorship money from mega Multi-Nationals (MNC's) in their quest for "Globalisation". Thanks to changes in the law and public perception there is ONE thing that makes MNC's run a mile. That is ANY whiff of the possibility of any corruption. Budweiser, Coca Cola would run a mile. Anyone of the Korean companies trying to do business in the US would run a mile. FIFA may have actually caused their own downfall, By putting the Corporate Buck before the interest of the football fan they may just (to quote the Torygraph) have had their Salt Lake City moment. Qatar is about MNC's & emerging markets. There won't be ANY fans going - 90,000 Hotel rooms and NOTHING less than 4 star at $500 a night... Football won't bring them down. The FA and boycotts won't bring them down. It will be Coke & Bud & Samsung & Hyundai. Wanna start the wave then get onto the blogs of their forums and say you will never buy another one of their products while they support such an allegedly corrupt organisation

May have wanted an English team to win..... But BOY it has been fun this evening ripping into my Dubai based plastic manc mates on Facebook. Good shout to Deppo who gave us great ammunition!

As an aside. I was shocked to find out that the spiritual home of coffee AND the location of Mocha was an actual place in You'll never guess........... yep Yemen. Seriously, not Brazil, fecking Yemen. http://www.cw-usa.com/coffee-reviews-yemenmocha.html Found out when flying on Yemenia Airways to Sa'naa years ago & they gave you a mini pack of coffee instead of a washbag - cool And the actual original home of coffee is? yep Ethiopia & Sudan. Being developed by the Yemeni's and spread across Arabia and then to Italy... Now an "Arabic" coffee in the Gulf States is absolutely vile, served in mini cups with a huge heavy dollop of roasted Cardamon seeds added. As you go more north into Jordan Egypt Syria Lebanon then you find the prevalence of Turkish Coffee. Trust me - you never need Red Bull if you can get a Turkish. Oops Sorry Turkish COFFEE
-
I saw widget heat up themselves ones in Service Stations in UK but never the cool down ones. In Thailand Birdy is the brand but can also find Nescafe. We get Nescafe cans here - smaller than a Red Bull but much more refreshing In most Food Courts/Tourist trap cafes you have the Nestle Iced Coffee in one of those old fashioned Orange Squash type mixer/cooler thingys

Pah. Barca were lucky. If they'd had to play us this season they'd have never made it. All those saying they're the best team in the world - krap. Did they play us? No. Why? 'Cos they know we'd have whooped their asses & were scared of us. Lallana & Oxo would have torn them to shreds, Messi wouldn't have got a touch with MS controlling the midfield. And NA wouldn't have picked such a krap midfield as SAF. Admit it Fergie - you ain't gonna get anywhere near them so pack it in now and start the Manc demise so we can take over after they sack your next 2 replacements.

Agreed. Finally after a 3 year wait Deppo comes up with a funny -
Two heaped sppons of Nescafe. Two heaped spoons of sugar, fill 3/4 full and top up with cold milk. Cured my 20 cups of coffee a day habit & now have one max two. Occassionally treat myself to a Double Shot Latte at the M3 services on the way to Heathrow or Startrucks. But in Thailand - Iced Latte all day long or the little cans of Iced coffee you can buy

Was possibly one of the last great "have a bit of an adventure" places to visit around the Med. Think of it as Turkey without the tourists, but it is still very different for a non-seasoned traveller and a must to have a good guide/tour or friend up there to take you round. The old town in Damascus at night is full of bars & Restaurants Palmyra is just amazing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palmyra Alleppo Old Town & Citadel for Crusader History buffs is a World Heritage site The Water Wheels in Hama make you stop & think as well having been built by the Romans http://www.travelblog.org/Photos/8952 But Krac de Chevaliers is a jewel. The location on the hill, the inner buildings still have the Gothic ceilings (similar to Salisbury Cathedral) and there seems to be nobody ever there. I went in analogue camera days found the pics recently will try and stick some up. The Top Gear crew were right. Syria is one hell of a place to go. Just needs to get it's politics sorted out. For organised tours before the Arab Spring it was safer than Denmark (IMHO) today - wouldn't be able to get a visa & would be followed everywhere by men in dark leather jackets in case you were a Journalist on the quiet. Used to go every 6 months or so, just loved the place and the people. Oh & think I mentioned it before. The women......
-
Dear God no. That is just horrid
-
Wow technology eh. You need to download PDF's before having a download? Don't see that catching on without a broadband upgrade, imagine all that hanging around when you REALLY have to go

Yeah and read the AF crash reports... Main pilot was asleep in the back. Junior pilot flying. 2nd pilot goes to wake senior pilot. WTF? Why not send the Junior? Aircraft issues a Stall warning so Junior Pilot keeps PULLING THE NOSE UP???? FFS you learn about stalling in hour 4 of basic PPL training... And the senior pilot - Watches?? An anecdote I heard about airlines & money (Obviously could be urban legend) When Dubai went "bust" (about 6 months before it went public) cash was frozen in bank accounts so that a number of staff "of a local airline" had to work like crazy to get pilots (in some out-station airports) personal credit card limits raised so that they could fill up with enough gas to get home. Lasted about a day so the story goes...

Yup. Desert Technique - fold napkin into 8. tear small hole in centre. Insert left index finger through hole. Wipe with left hand index finger. Pull finger through napkin to complete wiping process. It is also why when dining with an Arab (esp in Business) it is regarded as an utter offence to use you left hand to raise any food to your mouth - always use Knife & Fork OR hold bread etc with right hand. Also it is why they get so mad (see Great Ormond Street Doctor in Dubai Jail Story) when you give them the finger (That one's for Atticus)

Let me put it like this. DON'T take the train if it runs under any of their flight paths. http://my.telegraph.co.uk/expat/tag/pilot-fatigue/
