What you doing here? Shouldn't you be scratching your bum or having a smoke or something?
-
Rickie wins a free kick for a foul by the CB must be a record RL over the wall fisted away by the keeper
-
No time for that tonight, we have to work on our KPI's for the individual forum members for the rest of the season, Nige told us to

The Mr Grumpy in Austria memorial thread COYS

no one else did it so here we go

Hahahaha Alps gets a mention on a txt woo hoo we are gonna WALK this game now!
-
That was Dennis Rofe's voice HTH
-
OOps OK enough of this frivolity. Have been taking this build up way too easy. Im in the Alpine camp no way we should be changing a winning team. Fans are overconfident and again the players will come out and fail; to stamp their authority I blame NA - get him out and get a real hair dryer in
-
Bloody hell, you must have a cracking pair of Binoculars to see that far mate
-
Just tuned in to hear they have a tough game coming up against Tiverton away. Thought I'd time -warped forward a year and was listening to a preview of a Poopey game next year

Although... Butters went off early Sat so might have been a minor knock Many were giving Harding stick for aimless crosses And most agreed that Chaplow has been off colour of late & Stephens The First seemed to the watchers to make an impression (Us listeners cannot comment on STF's peformance as Solent did not notice he had come onto the pitch until about Injury time)
-
Perhaps would be closer to the truth? Which is probably why they don't bother to mention it. Someone needs to Txt in and DEMAND TO KNOW

Righht, just back from Golf Society Monthly Medal - 9 holes in the dark always a hoot. Played better as the beers went down to finish the last 3 holes with 9 points and achieve my usual critical mission of not being last. Nice fish & chips and rush home to make the critical decisions before the big match. So, you'll be pleased to know I've kept the tactics simple tonight, gone straight on to the Pints of Bacardi & Coke (with a twist of lemon of course) Decks cleared, munchies organised, GF hugged so she'll leave me alone for the first 45 and of course now I really am worried and awaiting the critical tactical news from SMS tonight... Will the legendary DM be back in the hot seat or will it be the Buggles?

So in times of spending cuts and job losses left right and centre..

Watch Charlie Wilson's War, simples. As long as it's proper education. You know, how to use facebook, text proper and of course fill in benefit forms before going to uni to do a course that nobody wants to employ you with oops sorry -
Wow that's an amazing co-incidence.... I took a Spuds fan to the game up there. Hope that's the only thing that's the same... & not the scoreline
-
Think we all know what system Deppo would use You were lucky, your lot turned up half cut, should see the rabble at SMS on forum day (managers included)!
-
More importantly do we use a zonal defensive system for corners or man to man... remember the debate about Scousres certainly & I think Chelski thank fook I only manage a team once a year

Someone talk with forked tongue http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/regionalsport/Stephens-poised-sign-Saints-help-Pilgrims/article-3401686-detail/article.html I think this is a really depressing development. I had just got used to the fact that we were closing down the Academy and shipping all our players out. It also seems very clear to me now that we've blown our total transfer budget for the summer bringing in a "might become a first team professional punt" I though those days had ended with Young St Juste & Simon Clifford. But the most depressing is that it means that Glasgow's marvellous thread gets consigned to the dustbin far to early in it's lifecycle Boo And anyway, why do we need another fullback? FFS we've got hundreds of them around the place or out on loan at the moment
-
Well, something certainly changed. I noticed against Sheff Wed that the planes have become very confused, they were taking off AND landing in the same direction - ie over the top of SMS. Clearly there is something in this theory, maybe they needed the balls up there to help navigate? Meanwhile the stats clearly show that we have rubbish players. Time to get SCW in to give them shooting practice. and maybe teach them how to look (so they pass to our own players more often)

Back in the days I got a summer job with a bunch of mates from college as a cleaner, the deal was cleaning Window Blinds from offices (when peeps used to be allowed to smoke) The deal was so much per blind, the more we cleaned the more we got. Some we power hosed, some we did in situ... We earnt a bucketload of money. The other long term benefit that I never thought about at the time is that even to this day it made me really cool when I go to gigs or clubbing. We cleaned the blinds at the Atomic Energy Research place Winfirth down near Wool in Dorset. Pay was good and to this day I still glow in the dark. Unfortunately it had some side effects, my kids all came out well balanced and Uni graduates with proper jobs and big pay cheques - really not right that

Hence why LB doesn't fit into that style of play hence should we change the style slightly or should we get a taxi for Barnard Ah, thanks And NO we don't need a taxi for LB - just it explains why we have seemed a bit frustrating of late. It'll come, they'll work it out
-
Spotted him playing deeper ages ago, commented on it. We don't actually line up as a 4-4-2 Barnard pushes up on the CB's and RL drifts into the space. They only line up in a "2" when KD or the defence decide to switch play and go long Hence my recent thread on tactics & LB & taxis . I think he plays the role very well, but it means he doesn't get into the box quite as often. He was a midfielder and (to howls of abuse) he would make one hell of a scary Attacking Central Midfielder in one of those 1 up front versions that many PL & NPC teams play these days, or in a 4-4-2 diamond with LB & CMS up front next year
-
Well, with Connelly being out of contract at the end of this season, there may well be a vacancy in that area next year. But I don't think we're dumb enough to pay 40 grand a week anymore
-
He may well be correct http://www.expedia.co.uk/Hotels?c=88d61778-afb0-4882-b0e9-4a1166973ae4& If it still loads but says like Botley Park, Rownhams & So'ton Spa only places with rooms
