There's a difficult wind in Posh tonight Had that problem myself all weekend, it's the Sprouts
-
What they don't want to do now is to start posting positive comments. The goals come through hard work and saying that we are not closing them down, we're giving them too much space and we are playing rubbish
-
Keep that up! Posts it and Lambo

You should listen to the whole speech. He did cover a great deal about all forms of Extremism. The general gist however was that (as an example) there would be uproar IF a Government provided funding to a Far Right Movement to try and stop it's members becoming Violent Far Right Extremists. And yet this is what the "multicultural" argue should be done by giving YOUR tax money to Extreme Islamist groups. The problem with his speech was that in it's context and entirety it made a great amount of sense. But, because it steps on so many toes it will be cut down into sound bites and pieces will be argued about, not the actual simple concept which was that IF there is no National Identity, then people will not care about anything. I think it could be read as the first step on the road to finally allowing England to celebrate St George's Day as it's National Day

Ah ha! I've worked it out. Clever old Chinny! He knew there was no chance of getting his cash back. The Boys they brought in knew there was no chance so they played the "We're going straight up card" And the whole lot of them who really knew the score went and bet a fortune on releagtion - hell with all the hype they likely got someothing like 20-1 Brilliant plan Moriarity

Lol Watched the speech while having my lunch. First thought ooh he's hitting some nails on heads here that people won't like Second thought It needed to be said Third thought Oh boy now he's gone and done it, there'll be rows on this for years

Just remember one KEY point. Poopey will not get ANY Parachute Money UNTIL it has been used to pay back the Footballing Debts. Those debts were outside of the CVA (hence why HMRC are taking the court action again), and because the Parachute comes from the footballing authorities with strings on the club will not get their hands on them as the authorities will pay the monies directly to the Footballing Creditors. So as I don't have the energy to google all the numbers, my guess is that the 48mil over 4 years means that year one money all went far away from the club. Hence CHinny will not get any until the end of the season at best. Now if only their Board had been as wise as Rupert (hahaha) and realised that they HAD to get to the end of the season in order to survive and be able to move forwards no matter what League they were in. But oh no they obviously got their advice on strategy from Mike Wilde. To get any of the Parachute money they have to get to the end of the season. ANY new loans that they have to beg Chinny for will just cause the pain to continue but the interest (20%) will deprive them of any hope of getting out of the mess. So, it simply means that their only plan YET AGAIN was to try and con some new mug into buying them. Shame they didn't read the papers at the start of the season, they'd have noticed there is a recession on

Top Gear presenters in legal firing line over anti-Mexican comments
dubai_phil replied to trousers's topic in The Lounge
I feel very sorry for so many people offended by the childish pranks of the Top Gear crew life must be so painful without laughter I hope they also complain to the Beeb about the stereotypes of senile old men or paranoid delusional fools or stereo types of Fuzzy Wuzzies not liking it up them in the endless re-runs of Dad's Army, or the endless attacks on British Sexuality in the Carry On movies. Have they burnt John Inman's photograph at the stake yet? And why have the BBC not apologised for their portrayal of parental abuse in denying a CHild his right to a full and free life so prevalent in the horrific series Steptoe & Son. I assume the East End of London are also marching on Parliament tonight to complain about being steretyped as Dodgy Geezers driving 3 wheeled cars. I think all channels that allow depraved pictures of Animal cruelty when a Japanese fighting Fish is skewered by a pen should be taken off air, and the WWF/NSPCA should be demanding an apology from Leslie Nielsen for his entirely inappropriate Nice Beaver comment. -

The refusal to sell a season ticket at Southampton FC

Weather down here has been really weird of late. Lots of weird short lived storms blowing up, heavy rains mini Hurricanes and even some Tornadoes. They've all blown over and it will be sunny all week. Life is good, Tiger's coming to town for some relationship counselling. Thinking of taking him to the Seaview. Enough said. Same for this thread
