Oh I love this thread I keep getting the chance to say TOLD YOU SO! OK so I missed the details but I did get the concept down that his wind was going to change. UAE law - no bankruptcy. If case is filed then debtor goes to jail until the debt is repaid. Sweet

Hmmm Hammy has a boat It will need a boat warming party We need a venue for the forum match after party sorted.... Should be a piece of cake getting down to the RMC depot
-
Well.... later this week that may change... We all know the score in Saturday's game, but we may want to watch it again if the result changes thanks to HMRC:)

I'm getting a sneaking suspicion that today's skate will shortly be eating his own words. The only two reasons for an immediate winding up order will be 1) Because there is more money in it for the "sercurity holders" demolishing an ex football club for flats OR 2) They have to hide too much. The latter will mean that the few may suddenly discover that their history of the past 5 or 6 years (as we have assuemd) could be an awful lot worse and all thoughts of wanting to carry the name and history forwards will be forgotten. Or of course they have new onwers who can just carry on shredding and running up the laundry bills for washing all those training kits

Not sure that a Court can accept a faxed or emailed signature on "evidence" of this nature, May be wrong

He hehehe So Vantis will give the SoA to the PCFC Board tomorrow. Let us assume that will be at Nottarf Krap. They then have to do their Board Meeting thingyg and no doubt sign some sort of part of it. That then has to be got up to the Court in London by 5pm?.... So good day to organise a GridLock with the transport system tomorrow

nah, probably took it from the St John's Ambulance account again (Allegedly according to some media insinuations)

Just another train of thought. We will have a contract for a fixed amount of coaches during a season which allows us to get a good all year long deal, probably at less than you guys are booking individual coaches for. How many coaches do our usual Travel Club OWN? How many are they (or the club) having to bring in on sub-contract for the day? How many "organisers", stewards or bingo callers have to be brought in for the day to meet "H&S requirements for football coaches? Once we get the answers to that we can make some valid snipes about profiteering. My guess is that they are having to pay more than usual for the sub-contractors who have seen a pay day

In answer to the OP. We should appeal. We should decline any request to play Brum so they get a bye. However we should DEMAND that the prize money for Saturday is paid to us OR better into a charity for disadvantaged old footballers (such as the Kevin Moore fund)

IMHO If they are shown to have been trading while insolvent they are in breach of FA rules. Signings made when the embargo was dropped will be a technical issue. If the inslovency pre-dates their siging they will have been ineligible to play in the FA Cup. If it was a League match the penalty for one ineligible player is (I think) -3 points, or possibly an automatic 3-1 win. With two players ineligible and no points to deuct in the cup we could be awarded a 6-2 win. Should the insolvency be shown to predate the statement to the FAPL which allowed the embargo to be lifted (ie showing they misled the PL) Ouch I expect a fudge on ALL those issues of timelines, the mess is way to big. IF tThe SoA shows insolvency of that nature I would imagine they will do something straight away without waiting for the courts (not necessarily admin). For the record though, IF we were offered re-instatement to the FA Cup I believe we should take the moral high ground and politely decline.

Nail Head. Game over. All they have left is the parachute payments OR next season's PL TV revenue. :smt046 Chanrai owns the ground. Nice large Condo development with Squash Courts, Gym and possibly a cinema will cover the council Leisure use. He'll double his money by getting into bed with Sacha and adding in his land as well. Oh look a carve up, didn't see that one coming

Funny how a year can change things.... This year would probably be "I have never met, nor do I have any association business or social with Tiger Woods. The manager wishes to point out that he in no way condones, supports or otherwise believes that said Woods's actions are held in high distaste by said manager of Home Team. There are absolutely no truth in the rumours whatsoever that the said Home Team manager in anyway taught, incentivized, explained or in other ways indidicated to said Mr Woods how much more satisfaction he could receive in his private life by hanging around in the correct ****tail bars.".....

Wow never saw THIS one coming.. Here's their big plan. Borrow another 120 mil and become a global brand http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/7246676/Premier-League-football-club-interested-in-buying-Indian-Premier-League-franchise.html That description by Modi - you just know it was Al Fahim who did the deal :D

In the words (almost) of dear departed Freddie Mercury Another Day bites the Dust.... tick tock

I know you've all been yacking about the colour of the PDF file. But just coming back to the thread title.... Holy KRAP - 44,000 tickets. 44,000 Saints fans in one place on one day Not bad for a 125 year old that nearly died 8 months ago
-
I'm sorry that will be the end of posting on here for me I'd only have to look at this web site to be a ROFL'ing mess on the floor. I don't think I would ever recover. :smt033:D Surely they can't pull that fake Sheikh gag off again, not after all that went on so far...

Tick tock Ok so here we are a new week has dawned. Now, can someone remind me of the official statement from the FAPL? Oh of course not, there hasn't been one. Still says more than a zillion storries in the press. Talking of which, I did lol, FFS when Saints were trying to find a buyer I had a heck of a lot more than AN email and A phone call from people who were interested. (And no there WERE some from people that weren't Whacko! Hell one of them was even a lawyer. (And as Dear Constant Readers will recall, one of them was from dear old SBT's man himself...) Yeah like THAT's gonna work Petie boy! Well OK, it was the wife's divorce lawyer demanding to know if I'd earned anything from it -yeah right A phone call and an Email, dear me that was funier than the Norwegian Parrot sketch Eric put up on here

Would you sign Papa Waigo N'Diaye on a permanent basis?
dubai_phil replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
If Papa is to play up front I think he needs to work on his upper body strength, he gets brushed off the ball in tight situations. Having said that I'd sign him as their seems to be just about enough there for this league and he's young enough to develop and he has the pace we need -
Well half right, if you survive you will get relegated to the CCC And surviving without the TV money and stuck with Uttaka's and the like as your parachute money will have been sucked dry by your leeches
-
Yeah like freaky scary
