Not the best design, but I still prefer it to a plain shirt. Question, does the Saints crest look larger than normal? Maybe an optical illusion because of the bib but the crest size makes it look a bit Fisher Price to me.

That'll explain it, cheers, and excuse my spelling!

Is there any reason why VVD doesn't seem to be there? Classe is there so why not VVD?

Although they did a photo of the new manager (Official site) in front of a backdrop which included the UA logo with no adidas in view?
-
I recon he knows his onions!

Wonder what the players reporting back on the 26/27 are going to wear training kit wise?
-
He says he's heard nothing and would be amazed if Southampton took that much of a risk!!!
-
I know a journey from Sirius FC the digital sports radio over here thats dedicated to all things "soccer". I just asked him and he said he's not heard a thing but he's double checking, if anyone would know i recon he would.

I've said before that Klinsman is more American now than most Americans, can't see him leaving California for Hampshire, actually think he'd be good if he was ever of a Monday to take on another challenge though, have heard Bruce Arena's bandied around a bit, that would be more up Ralph's streak.

Hodgson with Neville assistant then Neville taking over in a year.
-
Thats Hoddle ( and Ilene)
-
I'd be amazed, he's really settled in California these days, is a US citizen and has two older kids at college here. Cant see him swopping LA to Soton.
-
IF they did let him go on holiday with only a verbal agreement Then you have to ask why they didn't learn their lessons from the Toby affair last season!
-
well he certainly seems to like his holidays!
-
S apart from that, you like it then?

With all the attention on Koemans departure and the normal summer sales stress, I thought it might be a decent time to post an idea I've had in my head for a while about a (IMHO)better/alternate song for Markus. While I know we don't like copying songs from others, I seriously think Sheffield Wednesday's "Carlos had a dream" tune could be re worded even more poiniently to honor Markus. here's the Wednesday version... My changed version is; Markus had a dream to save a football team we had no cash so he gave us some of his own we play from the back with Long in attack we are Southampton, we're not turning back! da da, da da, da etc... ill get get my coat

So if we really paid him $2.3m a year essentially we've had him for free, or in other words, Everton have paid his wages for us since he joined. That's pretty funny!
-
Apart from the mega money signings the blue noses are creaming themselves about, there will be the associated massive hike in wages. We know all to well (Gaston & Osvaldo) what big money blow outs can cost. Spend your money wisely Ronny boy or you'll be in the smit in no time. I hope!

Think the second Gary Neville has more to offer than the first

In the subject of chants.... Who's Virgil belong to now??
