The last couple of lines of the article state that "lenders typically charge 7% interest for loans against broadcast revenues" I would of thought that a billionaire owner would of been happy to loan the club money at 7%, seems like a crap deal for the club and a great investment for any lender.

Must admit that while I've not missed a saints game home or away via NBCS since moving to the US three and a half years ago, I am now pretty hooked on baseball. I get to go to to or three games a month and watch almost every night. During the season teams play 5-6 games a week. So if you've had a crappie game hopefully the following night you can get back on track, better than having to wait a week in hope. Before i moved, i really enjoyed the lower leagues, id been a season ticket holder for more than 20 years and away trips to places like oldham and darlington are what i believe real football is about. If i was still in the uk im not sure i could justify the prices of the prem anymore.

I seem to remember you're always a stickler on others grammar and spelling, whats your beef? If someone makes an honest typo, is it really worth typing something defamatory which might only dissuade them from posting again? Its the 21st century, people check their regular internet sites on the go these days, if you're typing out a quick post while sat waiting for the wife outside a grocery store on your phone, its really easy to make a couple of mistakes. And no, i didn't read this back ten times before quickly hitting post while doing five other things while I'm at work! Please lighten up and stop picking on any typo's, its really not that important.I

It does make sense to move on a forward that's not too reliable fitness wise IF we are going to bring in a quality forward who costs a stack and we are expecting to be first choice up front.

A few years ago an old friend added me on FB. He was a massive clown and borderline weirdo. When I knew him he used to profess to support Mansfield Town but coming from Fareham he was obviously a Skate. By the time he popped up on FB he'd come out as a massive Skate Cnrunt and was so objectionable about anything Saints we ended up kicking off at each other badly. Not heard from him since. HIS NAME ON FB, BEOWULF, (maybe a coincidence but not too many fans of Nazi tank commanders around)

IMHO I'm guessing that (as he was Koeman's Capt.) He's pretty tight with Ronnie and assuming they speak out of work then I can imagine Ron dripping to him about "they didn't really put themselves out to keep me after all I did for them" blah blah, and maybe he's lost his motivation as a consequence. Sure footballers are pretty delicate soles and maybe he's ****ed that his "favorate" gaffer was let go too easily for his liking????

I'm well chuffed like everyone else. One small bit of his interview that I think I noticed though, "we'll see how we do for the next two years" Sure he signed a four year deal. Almost as if the club have an gentlemens agreement with players these days??

My take on the season is that we'll be fine so long as VVD doesn't break his leg while colliding into Fonte. Joshy & ? in the center of defense for a protracted period would be calamitous.

Footballers, at least all the players ive ever got to know, are not like the average poster on SWF so its very difficult to try to rationalise their thought processes. The players ive known think about nothing much apart from themselves. They place themselves, and are placed by their onterages, in a superstar class that means that thoughts of loyalty to a fanbase or employer just dont come under consideration. They think in terms of how highly their personal stock can rise, plain and simple. Any ideas of making a player think long term or maturely are, ambitious IMHO.

To be honest, i dont think there really are true ITK posts of value. I just cant see how anyone would risk the **** storm they would surely recieve from their source unless they had permission to "leak" their info. I happen to be a close family member to a faily high profile ex saint whos still (just about ) in the game but id never dream of writing anything i was told in confidence on an internet message board. Theres a never mentiomed code that you just dont do that sort of thing, there are obvious reprocus. Therefore, i reiterate that imho any ITN posts from our most illustrius ITN'ers are probably pre sanctioned as ' is it okay to post this' or they'd be either unemployed or castigated from their source. So not so much ITN, more just back door pr from the club.
