I said pages ago that Johnstone isn't much of an upgrade on what we have. We must sign a keeper in the summer.
-
Disappointing we didn't make more of our possession and work the keeper. Some of our play was a bit predicable and it wasn't until Armstrong and Djenepo came in that we offered something different. Personally I thought Newcastle were crap. Scored 2 quite predicable and preventable goals. We needed more pressure on the cross for the first one and were undone by an obvious trick against our zonal marking for the second. Fuck me, their fans are utter arrogant pricks. Singing about winning the league and getting to Europe. I hope it all goes horribly wrong for them.

Finished off with Money Money Money by Abba. Predicable but necessary.

Loaded by Primal Scream.

Price Tag by Jessie J. Basically I'm just here for the half time song choice.

So far at half time we've had Dirty Cash and Money Can't Buy Me Love.

Nothing More Than A Political Protest Group "Rainbow Saints"

Does supporting persecuted gay people count as political? That's not a left or right debate, it's a human one.- 20 replies

Pretty much our strongest line up and Long back on the bench. Have to be happy with that.

Ha, nah, I enjoyed the passion in your post. Funny how the internet fans get so wound up. I'm sure that a lot of them will just change their allegiance to another club that wins stuff next season.

Are you ok Ed? Do you need to have a chat about anything?
-
Wow, PSG just fell apart in that second half.
-
Oh crap, didn't realise that. Don't want him to miss the cup game.
-
Ideally you'd want him to miss the Watford game as that's likely the easiest fixture we still have. Put him on the bench Thursday even if half fit, bring on for the last couple of minutes, commit a silly foul, kick the ball away. He then gets another decent period to get proper fit for the rest of the season.

Local government are clearly lying. I'm not advocating that anyone watches the videos that are easily accessible but if you are unfortunate enough to see them there's clear evidence of dead bodies.

The violence at that game in Mexico at the weekend is absolutely sickening. 17 dead. People stripped naked and beaten to death. Absolutely crazy scenes.

Something like 2 wins in 19 league games for Everton.

Are we allowed a stadium redevelopment thread without the picture of that baby and the Fratton Park Superdome plan?

Maybe, as normal with these sort of things, it's somewhere in the middle? Did a great job at Bournemouth until the last season where it went horribly wrong and they were a very poor side who were deservedly relegated. Is currently doing quite well at Newcastle having spent a bit of cash to strengthen the squad. The current payer thing though... We all know they aren't going to come out and say "we're doing well but have faced some out of form teams at a good time although it was quite embarrassing losing at home to Cambridge in the cup."

There was some kind of medical emergency in the Norwich game, back of the Kingsland. Happened in the first half but the game didn't stop. Same at the start of the season when there was one in the Chapel after some bloke stacked it and smashed his head up pretty badly. Not sure understand why it stops sometimes but not others? Is it only if it's heart related?
-
Seems random depending on the kick off time, what turnstile you are going through etc. Unless there's some sort of problem it won't take more than 10 minutes whatever time you turn up.
-
Strange game so far, loads of possession but don't look like scoring and seemingly are happy to give up good chances whenever they bother to attack.
-
Valery came out at half time, had a quick warm up and went back in. Maybe he's coming on?
-
He's also given a lot of them a grace period to get their finances in order before it kicks in. So lame.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

You should pass that story to Private Eye. They often report on ridiculous decisions around PIP cases such as that.
