They played us at a good time when we were complete shit and had a load of injuries. Will be interesting to see what happens when we play them near the end of the season.

Seriously I can't be arsed to reply to all of that, but if someone is sat on the ground quietly and they are then wrestled to the floor then yes it would be an overuse of force in my opinion. There's a lot of stages to go through before someone is suspended, it would have to pretty serious for that to happen.

Palace? I'm pretty sure they've never won anything and are in the same size as us. Brighton probably like to think they are now and their trophy cabinet is as barren as they come although they obviously beat us to the League 1 title.

It has, but ultimately none of those moments mean much because they didn't result in us winning anything. Catching up on this thread has made me laugh out loud a good few times. Some absolute crackers on here. Almost like nothing counts unless it happens in the Premier League. I was there for Mane's hat trick but I was also there when we beat Brighton at the Withdean and I got a lot more pleasure out of Fonte's header in a meaningful League 1 game than I did from Mane scoring quickly against a poor Villa in a dead match. Same as Derby away in the playoffs. That away end was rocking harder than the whole of St Mary's when Rasiak scored. I guess he shouldn't have bothered though because it was in the wrong league.

I'm not sure anyone said anything about brutality? There's a big difference between a perceived overuse of force and smacking someone around unnecessarily. No one would have been suspended for the arrests made, at least not the couple I saw which were arguably heavy handed but would not be anywhere near worthy of suspending someone over. Also, I'm not sure how many people you think work in these departments but there's no way anyone has looked through thousands of hours of BWV footage since the weekend! They may have looked at the arrests but that would have been it.

Didn't they offer one guy a vaccine because his BMI was off the chart due to them having his height as 6 inches rather than 6 foot on the system? I guess this is a roundabout way of me saying they do. At least for some people.

Woman in my team is getting hers next week but is 6 years younger than me, no health issues. It's a bit of a postcode lottery at the moment even in local areas. Most of the younger people I know who have had it are going to Pompey, they seem to be a bit ahead of Southampton. I guess they have to be better than us at one thing.
