Bednarek used to win those headers too, so no reason someone else can't.

Absolutely horrible what happened in Indonesia. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/oct/02/indonesia-football-fans-killed-east-java-arema-malang

He was crap and it goes to show that people on here banging on about him not being picked were wrong. He gave the ball away countless times, got booked early on for a silly, needless tackle and was partially responsible for their second goal. Probably the only person on the pitch who covered less ground than Andre Marriner. Diallo would surely have done better than him yesterday.
-
No, it was someone else. Just had to look it up and it was Jess Thorup who went to Copenhagen until he got sacked last month.
-
What excuses did he make today? There weren't really any in the Solent interview I heard but maybe he made some elsewhere.
-
Sounds painful

Potter came from Swedish League didn't he? I mentioned Knutsen a while back, seems like the type of manager who could do well with a young team.

Just heard Ralph interviewed on Solent on the way home. He was saying that we wanted to create more chances which, to be fair, we did. However I'm not sure if that's down to us creating our own chances or the fact Everton are a bit crap. He mentioned Adams' miss just before their second goal and that being a crucial moment. Can't really argue with that. I thought Adams' had a complete shocker of a game. We're fielding a very young, inexperienced team at the moment. I was hoping this would make us more dynamic and athletic, and we have seen glimpses of that but only in patches and not consistently enough. Problem is we can't continue to make mistakes that cost us goals because we won't score enough goals to compensate for that. It's a tricky situation. Set up the team to be more attacking and hope we outscore the opposition with our average strikers, or play more defensively and hope to keep a clean sheet?

2 shit teams. Everton slightly less shit. The goals were all always going to come from bad mistakes and that's what happened with all 3. We lacked any impetus in the first half, could barely put 3 passes together. Maitland-Niles looked well off the pace which is maybe why he hasn't started yet. Add in an insipid performance from Ward Prowse and it's no surprise we lost because the midfield was so poor.
-
There was a bit before half time when I swear no one was even watching the game and everyone was just sat around chatting like they were at the cricket or something.
-
If anyone watching a stream thought the first half was bad they should be in the stadium to witness the halftime entertainment.

Interesting line up

There's countless numbers of kids playing on a Sunday each week all over the country who get screwed over by rearranged tv games. It's not like anyone even wants to watch us on tv anyway.

Shite defending for the penalty. Spurs are such an unlikeable team.

Come on Arsenal

I hadn't realised there had been so many home games moved until I just looked. It's completely shit. Both the West Ham and Newcastle games clash with my son's matches. Fuck the Premier League.
-
There was a definite clash between Redmond and the manager. Let's just say that Redmond likes to speak his mind.

We don't have anyone in the England U21 squad. Edoize in the U20's and the 3 in the U17's played today.
-
Edoize scored for the U20's.
-
All 3 of the Saints lads played for England U17 again today in what seems like a bizarre 5-0 loss to Poland.

Premier League & cost of living: How many clubs pay real living wage?
The Cat replied to JackJersey's topic in The Saints
I was reading an article in When Saturday Comes recently which mentioned that Luton pay the living wage. Sort it out Saints, if Luton can do it then surely we can. -
Nice for Bella Kotchap to get on.

Just turned on and wondered what the fuck has gone on since it went 1-0. Great save Ter Stegen.

We could do with one of those own goals they like to score for us at St Mary's.
