And clackers. Double relegation?

I imagine he's thinking along the lines that if he stays and then plays at the World Cup he could get a transfer in January to a Champions League team. Bigger transfer for him, more money for PSV.

Anyone watching Oasis deserves to be covered in piss. -
Didn't he come on as sub against us and then get subbed off? Maybe he was injured but I didn't notice him get hurt. Seems a very weird signing if they do make it.

My friend who works match days said that both him and Lavia are really nice people. Always good to hear that sort of stuff.

Reading is a festival full of 16-18 year olds getting all excited because they are hammered in a field without their parents for the first time. I went in the 90's and there was trouble back then. Mates got robbed of their drugs at knifepoint and others had tents slashed and stuff stolen. Vehicles were turned over, bins set on fire etc. It never made the news then largely because no one cared what happened and there was no social media and phones to film it all on. Most other festivals in the UK have some elements of issues but there will always be something going on when you have 20000+ people in a field for 3 to 5 days. In my experience the more commercial festivals are the worse for trouble and incidents. The independent ones less so. Even those get the odd gang robbing tests or whatever though. I'm off to End of the Road festival tomorrow, really looking forward to having to keep up with the transfer window thread while putting up a tent! -

If I block everyone that trots out this phrase I'll be talking to myself on here.

The same section of the crowd who were singing about sacking him during the Leeds game were joining in the celebrations with him after the game today when he went over there.

Just seen the highlights on SSN and the bit where Adams flicked the ball into Jorginho's face just before half time warrants a new 10 year contract.

We lost 3-1 in the EFL cup. Pompey lost 6-5 on penalties to Crawley after letting in a 95th minute equaliser.
-
Had one good run shortly after he came on but then I barely noticed him.

I'm putting this win down to the terrible match thread title.

We have no one with any experience. Cameron Bragg, Jack Turner and Ryan Finnigan are the normal midfielders.

The one to Gold by Spandau Ballet?

What a win. Absolutely fantastic. Massive well done to the ref for not buying into their pathetic attempts to cheat. Spot on from Ralph tonight. Apart from 20 minutes in the first half we were the better team. I wasn't really worried they would equalise because we were set up so well to counter whatever they threw at us. I don't really recall Bazunu having many saves to make in the second half. We have really started doubling up on players and are so quick to shut them down in tight positions. The number of times we crowded out players and emerged with the ball was unbelievable. It's obviously something we've worked on and is paying dividends. Annoying for Lavia that he got injured as he was truly looking the part. Hopefully won't be out for 6 weeks or whatever. A great team performance. Thought Adams was excellent, he really gave their CB's a battle and held the ball up well. Adam Armstrong was also very good, great to see him score too.

For those that live around the country, do you see or know any other Saints fans in your area or are you one of a kind?

AFC Totton 0-1 Sholing. Tight game, Totton had more possession but Sholing hit them on the break with about 25 mins to go and held on. 913 there so a great attendance. An enjoyable bank holiday afternoon.

It's the big non-league Southampton derby today. AFC Totton v Sholing. Hopefully a big crowd for this. I'll be going.

I clicked back to the first page of that thread and quite a lot of them weren't particularly happy about the appointment in the first place which was interesting.

The number 7 who played the last pass was Jimmy Jay Morgan just in case anyone is interested.

Lovely goal they scored on Friday.

Didn't hear any songs about how he was going to be "sacked in the morning" yesterday. I guess all the people singing that at the Leeds game don't want him sacked now?

I got one of those post match survey emails so filled it out and complained about the stewarding and away fans in home ends. If everyone who gets the email does the same then at least they'll have some idea that fans are annoyed.

I don't remember 4 threads on the same game being part of the poll. I bet they don't have to put up with this on the Ugly Inside.
